Thank you so much for your video. I actually stumbled upon it by chance😃 but I am so glad I did...it's truly informative and helpful💯. However, I would like to find out if it can be used as an ESL teaching website or can you recommend any other free websites I could use to launch out as a beginner. Thank you.
Hey, are you from Tauranga? I was there a few times with cruise ships, as a staff member. I'm from Europe. Thanks for your videos. I hope you publish more tutorials.
Thanks for this helpful video 😊 but I was just wondering if you could help me with how to help people claim their business, etc with gbp and to stay on top of things for them, thanks, have a great day!
Hi, thanks, well I don’t have a project management tool because I’m still learning about gbp and my site isn’t on gbp because I’m just using it to try to help business owners expand their business for a monthly fee to keep track of it for them to hopefully get them ranked higher on Google like you mentioned and I appreciate your help 😊 and I was surprised to see how many people haven’t even claimed their business on there ps I’m grateful you responded because I’ve noticed not everyone acknowledges their comments 😊
Hi Stewart from New Zealand. I love your videos. This is Stuart from New Zealand as well and I have a question. Has something happened to the Google website link? I set up a lot of Google my business listing for lawn mowing businesses around New Zealand and I normaly use the option to set up a Google my busienss website. This works well for the guys I work with. Yesterday I set up a new Google my busienss account and there was no option to create a Google website. I checked again this morning and the bustton still isnt there. Has Google stopped this feature? Do you know anything about this?
This video is a bit older now, but I am curious if anyone knows if these websites can actually rank in SERP's. I dont think I have seen any of these website rank, at least not with the google URL slug.
@@StewartGauld I understand that since it has limitations. My point is though, CAN it rank. Or even come up in relative searches outside of GBP listings.
Hi Stewart, do you know how to go back and request a google made website? I initially thought I wanted to create my own site and purchased a domain, but now just for the sake of having an active site on my profile to get started I would like to use the auto populated website. In my profile I only have an option to edit URL address, I cannot get the option for a google business website address, do you have any suggestions?
@@StewartGauld Hey Stewart!! After browsing through your other videos, I found the tutorial to create a page through Google Sites. We managed to create the site as you instructed! Thank you so much for the indepth tutorials. 😁 Our new problems lies in getting the Google My Business page to link to the new site design from Google Sites and not the basic Google My Business website. We've already linked the Google Sites page to the domain we bought but the My Business page is still linking to the old site. 😕 But we're working to fix that. It's been an exciting learning curve. 😅😅😅
But if our website is automatically generated from all the information that is on our google business address, what is the point in having it? Isn't it just a repeat of all the information that is already available? Am I missing something?
Hey mate, Yes correct. However, all your information is on the listing. You can also add this information on the website. If you decide to create a website with another builder , you would add your business information correct? The GBP just adds this information automatically.
@@StewartGauld Yes. But still it would be nice for the customer to see something different when they click the website tab. A little bit redundant to see the same thing they've already seen. The only thing keeping me from deleting the website option is because it is practical to have the domain name I can post on other platforms or on a business card. Thank-you for replying. I appreciate you taking the time.
HI! No add my Google domain to my Google Business Profile, you did one but it is to buy a new domain, not to add an already existing one @@StewartGauld
