It's lovely. Nicely done! I noticed you had a cute visitor scurry by at about 4:57 mark. Had to rewind a couple times as I thought 'did I just see that'? Too funny.
I’ve never heard of this linen look on paint before, and didn’t think I’d like it - but wrong. It looks exactly like linen, and gives a great finish. It’s also very forgiving, I will give it a try! Thank you for sharing. Great job 👏🏻
Hi! Nice outcome, as usual. I like this technique and it doesn't look like u skimped on anything. U are blessed with the gift to see the beauty that sits on the roadside. Be well, stay safe & prayed up. Til next time
Very chic and modern textured look .. the technique looks doable also! I like how you created the look with the wood legs which changed it up tremendously.
I never miss out on anything coming from you, believe me! I’m not sure, but I think I love this version even better than the fabric one. It’s a close call! And, so inspiring!
Now THIS I can get behind! I'm totally gonna try this look. It seems like it would also be a good alternative for distressing when you have a piece of furniture that will take alot of use.
Katie! Last I checked you had done a fab faux wood design and now you're adding faux canvas texture!! Truly unique, truly creative!! Cheers from the GTA east end!!
Pretty neat. I’d already planned on doing this on the dark grey bathroom walls to lighten them and make them more interesting. Happy to see you using a grey also. Good job.
I'm excited to try this! I was looking at buying a grasscloth vinyl to get the look on the inside back of an ikea bookcase - this technique will be so much better and affordable! Thank you for explaining it so well!
I think this is a better idea then thr full fabric I kept thinking fabric check to seal the edges the work you must have put into that piece wow. This is one I will try to do. Thanks 😊
99 years ago I did something like this to a feature wall in a house I was renting it was a chambray look that I did with a hand held dust broom, which worked out perfect as that’s a finer striation than linen. This came out really nice and you’re right it is very forgiving! Well done Katie!👍🏻🤩
I've never seen this technique before! I know someone who would love this! My baby sister! I've now got a list of projects that I want to achieve. Thank you and have a blessed day 🌹
This one looks like so much fun! I think I prefer the painted linen as opposed to actual linen. Good call on the legs as well! You are awesome Katie! 💖💖💖
So creative and looks very unique. I love that you made a simpler version of using the actual linen. Thank you for your creativity. I'm adding this to my "To- Do- List" with furniture flipping.
That look awesome Katie!! Thank you for posting this video, I’ve been looking for DIY linen dressers. I had no idea I could achieve the look with paint.
I like the dresser with the linen look. I like both the linen look of the material in your other video and the paint in this video. Great job. Now, to find a dresser to try this on. Not sure what I will choose.
Ran into you online for the first time. Lovely, clear, concise. I appreciate you stay on topic & don't waste our time with unnecessary chatter. Very impressed, will look for you again!
Katie. I watch your channel all the time. Love you and your furniture flips! All I can say about this one is you’ve done it again!! Amazing. 🙏🙏Thank you
Beautiful, I did a similar finish in blues for a worn Levi look. Never thought about the brush head. My goodness that would have been so much faster!!!!!
I was surprised when you covered the first dresser with actual cloth, that was a lot of work! I have used this technique on walls to create a grass cloth effect, sometimes using a base coat and then two glazes to get more depth. I usually use a squeegee with little v's cut into it so that the end result is not such a fine pattern but I really like the idea of using the broom and will definitely try that on my next project!
I love it!! I'm definitely going to give this a go. I love that you will give anything a try and show the good, the bad and the ugly in furniture refinishing 😂👍😍
I like the linen look done with paint much better than using the actual linen fabric glue on method. It looks great! I love the colors used, too. I've always been a fan of linen and it's good to know that there's a paint technique to help me achieve that look for my furniture. The dresser you chose is a perfect choice to highlight this technique. Great job, Katie!
Love it! It looks fab, and I love the colours you used. I'm just about to start on mine.....watching from Australia. I'm a big fan and especially because you're Canadian....my son and brother live in BC.
Just got the notification for this & jumped on watching it so quickly!!! But, DO NOT think for one min. I've forgotten about the last video. I'm so curious to see how it turned out!!! Hoping all is well Katie, Dirty Jersey out!!
I love these techniques. I always stayed away from the "synthetic" furniture, believing only wood may be successfully restored. Boy, have I changed my opinion!!!😁
I love working on my own creative projects and work while listening to you and watching you work! You make such great videos to use as inspiration, even if furniture isn't my medium! Thank you :)
