This is phenomenal! I loved these tricks. I wish that I could be that prepared each and every week. Instead I just typically online order the same list and eat the same things so I don't have to think about it!
Online ordering is a great time saver and can actually be a good way to be more organized + avoid those unnecessary splurge purchases that can happen at the store ;).
Awesome tips! Impressive and well done! It's always a headache each week trying to figure out an efficient approach to grocery shopping and I tend to forget to double check the pantry beforehand! I have been keeping a running list on the refrigerator - this way we can easily add the item to the list immediately and it's not forgotten! I miss the days of wearing babies! And....I love those container labels! Baby Ivan - you are so sweet!!!!
Thank you! Love the idea of a running list on the fridge! The baby wearing is the best and now that I can wear him facing out he gets to see everything which is fun, too. :)
Hi Allison! I'm glad you're back! You've definitely been missed! I'm definitely going to use some of your ideas for prepping my shopping list because to be honest, it's nerve-racking. Especially since we have 4 people in our home with 4 different diets - One with Celiacs disease (so she's gluten-free and even dairy/casein free), another with renal failure, another with diabetes and then there's myself who's trying to lose weight. Can you imagine trying to find common foods that we can all eat that would also be fulfilling to each one of us? Argh! A nightmare! LOL! So it's not uncommon for me to be left with a lot of random food when it's time to go shopping. Luckily I found another suggestion for Step 2 - which is to make a list of everything that's left in my refrigerator and my pantry and drop it into a website like supercook so that it can offer up suggestions on recipes for those remaining items. That way I can get rid of leftovers, use the remaining food before it expires or add food to the grocery list that can be used to make a new recipe! I swear, this method saves a lot of food. I don't know if you already tried it but if you ever choose to, I'd love to hear what your experience was with that or even see a video on it. Take care and I hope to see more videos soon!
