Thank you ma'am. Because of you, I passed my Computer Science. Your calm voice and informative discussion was the way for me to have a grade of 97. Thank you once again ma'am
This video helped me more than all the other videos I've been watching for days. I love the way you simplified everything for a beginner like me. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much ma'am. This video helped me so much that I can't tell you. Cause of this video I was able to make a beautiful PPT for my holidays homework. Thanks a lot ma'am.
Can you show what happens when you open a whole other PowerPoint presentation and try and copy that into this template you created? I have clients who think that it would be seamless and that the pasted slides would automatically take on the attributes of the new template. I cannot get this to work! Can you show us?!
Thank you for this tutorial! Question time: When I apply created template to an older powerpoint presentation (which already uses design template), it mixes the two of them togehter. My newly created template doesnt overrun it
@11:23 Hi, i know am watching this very late 2024, but want to ask you one thing. you saved the panda slide as the theme but it gave you the raw template next time. why? i want that panda slide as the theme one so that the same settings will be applied to all the slides of my ppt. i have 20 slides in my file. any suggestions?
Thank you so much that you teach me for do cute powerpoint. your noice is ok and you teach step by step .I can understand that I saw your teach. thank you so much
Hi! It's not that important. The difference is, that if you open a .potx file, PowerPoint copies the content into a new presentation file. If you save it, you don't override the template file by accident. If the template is a .pptx file, you will override the template if you don't explicitly create a new file by choosing 'Save as' in the menu. However, you can easily save .pptx files as real templates by selecting .potx in the file type of the save menu.
Excellent information and presentation and I love jazz but that music drove me absolutely batty and made me almost too wired to watch the whole video. . .
I'm only a couple of minutes in and my master slide only changed the first one when I clicked on "Picture or texture fill." You said everything I do in the Master Slide will affect all the other slides, but apparently that's not the case. I have to click "Apply to All" in order for the others to have the picture inserted as the background. Is PowerPoint 2021 (the one I own, and not the 365 version) different?
Hi! Very helpful so far. I'm just stuck on the part where I use the template that i made. The text boxes aren't showing/i cant edit the text. It seems like the whole slide became a background that I cant edit. Any solutions? Thanks!
Hello Jan, this happens when you don't use the special PowerPoint placeholder in your template. All text you want to be editable afterwards needs to be such a placeholder. You can insert a placeholder by going to the "Slide Master" tab and then click on "Insert placeholder".
