hey i really like your approach, thanks i will make it my routine :) I have one question, i find it not easy to start with longtones because my sax needs to warm up a little bit so i have a different embouchure when i start and after maybe 5 or 10 minutes. ofc i can move my mouthpiece to adjust, so is that the trick?

Hi. As the saxophone warms up, the pitch of the notes will change. How much this change will be, will depend on what is the temperature of the room you are playing in. Everybody has their own way of doing warm ups, I think it is better to move the mouthpiece rather than change your embouchure. This way will also help with training the ear for tuning the saxophone. Some people always put their mouthpiece in the same position each time or mark the position on the neck. This is not helpful as the environment in which you play will have an effect on the pitch. But honestly, if it works for you, there is no reason to change what you are doing. Thanks
