See how to create a form with a fixed size box or table in Word so you can insert an image or a photo content control form field. This allows you to set the exact size you want so that an inserted image will fit into the box or cell without auto expanding. You can also use the picture content control form field so someone filling in your form can upload an image file and it will fit into your pre-sized area.

While I was searching relentlessly over the Internet trying to figure out the way to insert a picture into a text box, I luckily found your video clip and realized how it is done. However, the "Content Controls" feature isn't available on Microsoft Office for Mac. Anyway, thank you so much for your high-quality online tutorial content.

Great explanation! One question regarding the source of the picture when using the picture content control. I have users that need to insert pictures from Snagit or some other screen shot program. Is there a way to change the path to select screen shots or open the screen shot app when they click on the box?

That is a great question! I will have to research that. But my initial thought is you would have to save the snagged image because I’m not sure that content control has the functionality. That would be a great enhancement request for Microsoft 😉. Thanks for watching my video!

Hi Sharon. I created a fillable form with text boxes & check marks for a person to complete and return, however, the form doesn't automatically go to the next fillable tab on my form without having to manually go to the next question. How can I set the next tab function to work for me with Word 10? Thanks a bunch. LOVED your video.

how do i create a picture template like this and have it size portrait and landscape being the same dimensions?

Thanks for that. However, I need a form where I can drop multiple photos in. Can be up to 30. I want them to be all the same size and I just want to select, drag (from the source - which in my case is an email) and drop (onto the form). I do have a Word form at the moment, but Microsoft did something a few years back and it changed the way the form worked. Now I can no longer replicate the form I had. Ideally, I would like 3 or 6 to a page that already has a header. I do not need them to fit into an excel grid, but can if that will work. If you know what can be done, please let me know.
