THANK YOU!!! subscribing is a no brainer. I really appreciated your explanation, very thorough! I felt like I was getting a 1:1 session. Very appreciated!!!!
Iam so impressed with your presentation here. I am not an expert in excel but would really love to create the same to use. Will you please kindly send me the template. I would be very grateful. Thank you
Wow this is detailed and really helpful. I am finding it hard to copy the formula correctly. Kindly send me the complete template and the formula. Thank you
Good morning Thank you for the information I'm doing my postgraduate in project management I have learned a lot from your videos It is possible to get the risk register template Regards
Thanks so much. Just got tasked with this at work and had no idea what I was doing!! Regarding the the Risk Register Scale that you created earlier on the validation sheet, is that created in the spreadsheet cells and then saved as an image? Also, is there a way to apply a formula to calculate across the entire row/down the colum, while keeping the first number as permanent and only changer the second number? Using the same 5 x 5 number format that you used and pretending we're starting at A1 (being 5 for Probability) making B5 1 for Impact, I applied the formula to B1: =A1*B5, which gives the correct result (5) for that cell, but when I drag across the row, it keeps the same shape (ie, next cell formula becomes =B1*C5 (instead of A1*C5) which gives right result by chance despite wrong method, but then the wrong results start after that at D1, where formula is =C1*D5 (30) (instead of A1*D5) ) where I need the first data cell to stay the same for the right result (ie, second result needs to be =A1*C5) ... Must be so confusing to read, sorry!! The issue is that rather than keeping A1 in the formula and multiplying with B5, C5, D5, E5, the first number in the equation is shifting across as well, so rather than staying at A1, it's multiplying B1 and then C1 etc... If that makes sense and there is a solution, I'd love to hear it! I know it's not much effort to manually type in but trying to enhance my Excel skills! Thanks!!!
Hi Sam. That's correct - it was previously created and inserted as an image. Regarding the formula, you can leverage the $ symbol in front of the first number - this article explains it in much better detail than I could explain here: www.extendoffice.com/documents/excel/2500-excel-constant-cell-value-reference.html
Hello, Thank you for this. I am studying this topic and thanks to this video, I now how a better understanding of what kinds of things should be on the risk registry. I truly appreciate the guide in excel. This is truly helpful!
This is incredibly thorough and beneficial. To my dismay, I'm having a difficult time copying the formula. Please provide me the template and the formula.
Thanks so much Ahmed . If you send me an email I'll get the template right over to you - my email can be found in my about page of my channel. Take care.
