Creating a flower arrangement in a shoe can be so much fun and a unique way to display blooms. Here are some steps to guide you:
Choose Your Shoe:
Select a shoe that you’d like to use for your arrangement.
Make sure the shoe is clean and dry.
Preparation:
Line the inside of the shoe with cellophane or plastic to prevent water leakage.
If you’re using fresh flowers, soak a floral foam block in water until it’s fully saturated then wrap it in cellophane and place it inside the shoe. You can use glue or fix it to secure it if you like.
Select Your Flowers:
Choose your favourite flowers. Roses, lilies, gerbera daisies, and baby’s breath work well for this type of arrangement.
I am using only greenery, pistachio, Ruscus Italy, leather leaves, berengrass, baby's breath-gypsophila and rose.
Cut the stems to the desired length using sharp scissors or floral shears.
Arrange the Flowers:
Start by arranging the greenery, you can create nice and interesting designs just with greenery. One big Rose can be the focal point softened with the baby's breath-gypsophilia.
Fill in any gaps with the baby’s breath and more leaves.
Finishing Touches:
Create a ribbon with satin and wire, and attach it to the flower arrangement for an elegant look.
Remember, you can get creative with your flower choices and arrangement style.
A unique twist using berengrass to make lines or different shoe/boot containers.
