Hello everyone, welcome back to this brand new tutorial! In this video, I'll show you how to do skin retouching for a sports poster and how to use displacement maps in Photoshop.
Skin Retouching in Photoshop step by step.
1. Duplicate Layer: Press Ctrl+J to work non-destructively.
2. Curves Adjustment: Go to Image Adjustments Curves, and adjust to smooth skin tones.
3. Brightness/Contrast: Use Image Adjustments Brightness/Contrast to brighten the skin and adjust contrast for definition.
4. Masking: Apply a layer mask and use a soft brush to limit the effect to the skin
Using Displacement Map in Photoshop
1. Create Displacement Map: Desaturate and boost the contrast of your base image, then save it.
2. Apply the Map: Go to Filter Distort Displace, select the map, and adjust as needed.
3. Blend: Use Overlay or Soft Light and adjust opacity for a realistic effects
These steps will help you create clean, professional sports designs.
