Many many of us out here are thankful for your explaining this stuff to us. I will be 60 soon and its a great honour to learn new skills from someone who does it so well
Your channel has helped me so much improve the production quality of my channel, especially with B-roll. Thank you for this vid. I've been struggling a bit with speed ramping and this helps a lot. Cheers.
@@Storysium of course I leave a comment for your awesome work. And if you ever have an idea for an effect in a restoration video, just let me know and I'll send over the needed samples 😉👍
what about frame rates? i mean , i have 60fps footage and i want to slow it down to 25fps for some seconds and after that , i let it paly at 60fps again , what about that ??? keep in mind that hall video will be exported at 25fps.
Alas, no Timewarp on my version of Premiere Pro (22.1.2). Normally I'd say the effect was removed because it was buggy, but Adobe's apps are renowned for having long-running and unresolved bugs, so perhaps not... Anyway, high five my friend! Love your work, thanks loads! ✋🏽💥✋🏽
@@Storysium for smooth slow motion I have twixtor pro plugin installed in latest version Premiere Pro, but after making a few changes in speed, it takes 12 minutes to pre-render a 10 sec long footage 1080p, why it takes so much time?
I am running v 22.1.2 (Build 1) and do NOT have TIMEWARP EFFECT. - Great tutorial! Clear and concise and helpful! Just Subscribed - looking forward to more tutorials! Cheers.
and I Have Questions, *Premiere Pro 22.0* Is *Cruising* and it's *so 🐢Slow.* I don't and this Experience on *Premiere pro 21.0,* *_Premiere Pro 2021_* It's *🐱🏍Beter for my PC!* _What Do You Think?_

I'm using Premiere Pro 15.4.1 build 6, so I can use Timewarp. For some reason when I try to use version 22.1.2 Premiere acts weird. Clearing the cache, and resetting preferences doesn't help. I even tried reinstalling Premiere. I use a MacBook Pro I9 with 64GB memory. Anyway, this is the first tutorial I've seen that addresses audio when slowing down video. I didn't think slowing down the audio would sound good, so I've always replaced the audio. But this method is better. Thanks Nathan.
Sound like your MacBook should be fine for 22.1.2. But I've seen more similar complaints about the performance on a Mac. I hope they will fix it in future updates. Might be related to the M1 performance boost. Thanks again for the comment Terry! Appreciate it.
@@Storysium Thanks for commenting back about this Nathan. It's good to hear that my machines aren't the only one having this problem. Perhaps Adobe has forgotten about Apple Intel devices in favor of the M1 devices.
After watching lots of videos & cursing them to be inconclusive coz of improper explanation, stumbled onto yours & its the best one there is. Thanks a lot! You earned yourself a subscriber...
Perfect timing as I was planning on searching for the slow motion tutorial. Thanks for that, your videos are super helpful! One question though, could you do a video for best looking sequence settings for youtube? I haven't seen a proper tutorial on that yet, they're always too long and don't go straight to the point. Maybe I'm asking this wrongly and this is much more complicated than that because it could be dependent on footage, but I'm not sure how it all exactly works, so I'm hoping for an answer.😁
Happy to help! There is no best looking sequence settings for RU-vid. You should always use a sequence based on the properties of your footage. Exporting for RU-vid is something else. I recommend using h.264 if you can, there is a RU-vid preset which works well. Use the 4K one if you can. Hope it helps.
Great stuff here ! Thanks for sharing with us the tips & tricks to make our production better :) Subscribed instant after watching this video ! And no TimeWarp premiere 23.4.0
shows that even 3d tracking can be added to premiere pro without the need to buy after effects, time warp effect was added by mistake to premiere pro in case you wanna know...
Thanks for your great videos. Could you please make a video how to speed up a video properly? I am doing fpf videos and I struggle with speeding up fast movements. There sometimes is micro stuttering and so on. Anyway, thanks for your top tier videos and high five!
@@Storysium PC. I have also the Sapphire pluginn and there is the s_TimeWarpRGB available but did not try it yet but will do now. For super slowmo I can use also the Twixtor pluginn for After effects and with that pluginn you can make slowmo to 1 or 2% if the footage is 50fps. Only when the subject is contrast rich so a bike against the sky is ok but an green jacket in a green wood is bad.
@@Storysium The s_TimeWarpRGB pluginn has nothing to do with slowmo. I did test it a minute ago and it gives a temporal color distortion in the rgb channels.
You mentioned optical flow can have an effect on the quality of the image such as artefacts and distortions. So my question is if the fps is higher does that result into less artefacts? Say, if i shoot at 120Fps, and sequence setting is at 24 fps....but i want a super slowmo at maybe say 10% of the speed . Will the higher fps help in the image not having distortions after applying optical flow.?
@@Storysium Thank You bro One More Help pls I Have A Que.. Im Building PC for Editing My Budget Is Not That Big I Can Afford Ryzen 5600X & 16GB Ddr4 3200Mhz Ram And Amd 500 Series MotherBoard I Have a Nvidia 1050ti & a good psu & a good cpu aircooler Will This Parts Will Be Enogh To Do Lag Less 4k Editing In Premier Pro Or I Need To Buy More Heavy Parts? Thanks In Advance
I think it will be ok, unless you are going to edit very demanding projects. I recommend 32 GB of memory. These are the requirements for Premiere: helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html This is my system: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MC2CiJLWUEw.html Maybe you can find some inspiration in that video.
@@Storysium thanx man for reply this info helps me a lot i also like asus they are best and u will reach to 1 million soon just keep continue the posting i always share u r videos & stuff & u r videos help me a lot thanks for sharing...& Happy New YEar
So the sun flare disturbance had me banging my head on my desk because I couldn’t figure out why my clip was doing that. Now I know exactly why. I did use optical flow on the clip. Now I know how to fix it. That in itself made this video worth the watch. Thank you.
Wow that look's super easy. But now I need a Camera that can record with 120 FPS, because I don't really like 30 FPS Videos. They don't look really fluently to me ^^
Yes, in some cases it won't work very well. Just like the examples starting at 04:04. You can try to slow it down less, like 66% instead of 50% for example. Good luck!
