I use a soundcraft mixer before my rc 505 mk2. I like it because I can have lots of instruments connected and the lexicon effects are sometimes useful, but can use aux sends too. Very similar workflow for me for building loops. The rc 505 has drums built in which is sometimes helpful when I want a rhythm to play against that doesn’t get recorded or take up a track.

Thanks this was great setting to ROP was what I needed. I think I also need that Behringer although my set up is stereo Blofeld-Polymoon-Specular Tempus. Anything comparable, knobs per function that I’m not aware of? I was thinking ASM but so much going on there…thanKs again subbed

Thanks for sharing the features of theAeros looper. Can it also be used beyond a looper, ex. general sampler capabilities as other products (reminds me of the 1010Music BlackBox/BlueBox)?

Hi Teffy thanks so much for this, it helped me understand what to look for in the AEROS. I'm trying to understand if I can do One Free Time Loop as well as a simultaneous Track with a Tempo running plus overdubs, or even more tracks synced. I use a RC505 and i turn LOOP SYNC OFF and the other loops stay in sync together but I have 1 or 2 tracks for free time play. Thanks if you are able to answer my question :)

I have a question. I am new to looping and just picked up the aeros. I love it. I am trying to separate individual effects for each track. ex: delay on the chords, dry on the bass; reverb on the percussion. Is there a way to arm each track to receive an individual effect, like in a DAW ?

Could you add a midi controller with faders (APC40 or a Novation LaunchControl mini) and set it to control the individual track volume controls? I know there is that screen where you can mute and +/- the volume of the tracks inside the Aeros looper, but do those volume controls sync to an external midi device… that would really make the ability to fade in and out elements without diving screens in the Aeros….

I'm assuming that a guitar could be used? I will say though I'm familiar with all the pedals you're using. I didn't realize just how EXPENSIVE creating ambient sounds can be. Regardless, I think your presentation is excellent!
