Very useful explanation there bro! Have a couple questions here... Is it OK to link to products from multiple stores around different marketplaces or should I pin stuff within the store I claimed on the profile? I don't have a Shopify store just yet, but I do sell on marketplaces, is it OK to claim one of those shops and then pin stuff from it and others as well? Of course I'm talking about the same niche for my stores, otherwise I guess I should create a separate Pinterest account depending on the niche.
Hey! Thanks! Yes you can. But you should claim your main website/store. You cannot claim these profiles, only your own website. Yes you can do that two. However, I would just have one account for all your stores if they are relevant the the main brand.
I’m sorry I’ve been trying to verify my account on Pinterest for my Etsy account, but for no luck I am having difficulties on understanding on how I am going to connect it directly thru “txt value “ will be possible for you to make a video on how to do it step by step? Thank you very muchhhh
Hi Stewart, thank you for this tutorial which I have been following. I have had my account deactivated for the second time now (and I'm literally only just starting). Pinterest have cited 'spamming' but I haven't even uploaded any content yet. This evening I had gotten as far as creating and saving pins and using keywords on the boards. I moved onto the next part in your tutorial about uploading content when I received the email that the account has been suspended. Can you help at all? Thanks.
Thanks Stewart. I have appealed the decision and I'm waiting to hear back. I actually don't know what I have done that warrants spamming. As I said, I've only just started creating the boards for Pinterest to register what I'm interested in. The first time round I wasn't sure what I was doing and started to upload content I had created for my Facebook page before I was suspended?? I really want to get on with Pinterest, but finding this tricky when I'm being suspended before I have even started. Thanks again, and I've subscribed to your newsletter.
@@StewartGauld appeal decision has come back - they are reactivating my account. But I would like to know why they deactivated it in the first place?? I found your tutorial very easy to follow - thank you!
Thank you for your video :) I'm just starting on Pinterest, so still confused as to how to use Pinterest. I created a business account. But I have two completely different shops on Etsy, so do I create two different Pinterest accounts for each shop, or do I create different boards, or how doest that work? Also, in one of my shops, I sell printable junk journal pages and kits and in my other shop I sell printable greeting cards, party favors and wall art. Should that all be in one Pinterest account or two different ones? And my second question is about "TAGGED TOPICS" on Pinterest: When I use the Pinterest Pin Button extension (Google Chrome), to pin my one of my Esty listings, does it add my Etsy keywords to my Pinterest pin "tagged keywords"? or is it better to go directly to Pinterest and pin from there (filling out the keywords and link and title and description)? Or should I just not worry about those "tagged topics" on Pinterest? (also, why doesn't it let me edit my tagged topics even on my created pins?) I'm new to Pinterest. Thank you in advance!!
Has Pinterest updated their pin creation options? 08:30 - now I can only create an organic pin (free), and create pin for ad or create pin for idea ad (paid). Can you explain these? How does it work and where does it charge you? Thanks :D
A follow up question to my first one: I was able to click an "upgrade" button that walk me through a series of information to complete. It ask my business name to which I don't technically have a business name, but I run a reselling business online store. What do I put into that field?
Hi I just started Pintrest but I didn't use the create an account. So I use my current email via Google & I don't have a password. Can I still convert to the business account with the same email I just used?
Sure, you want to create normal pins and direct to a subscriber web form (stand alone or on your website). I suggest offering something for free to drive more email list conversions.
@@StewartGauld thank you for replying back, I'm doing all the things you've mentioned above.. but a subscribe now pin gets 10-20 views while a motivational quote pin gets thousands of impressions, should I post about the newsletter on the quote pin? Will that work?
Your welcome@@1bhanuja Yes, so a strategy could be leveraging discovery pins for growing your page and then leveraging normal pins linked to your newsletter. Focus first on branding then conversions.
@@StewartGauldThanks again.. 2 more questions here 1) can I claim my canva website & add the tag given by Pinterest? 2) can I add my website link on all normal pins I create? BTW I followed u on Pinterest 🙏🏻😇
Hello, I doesn’t allow me to create a business account because I need to unlock pro tools such as analytics and ads. I don’t know how to activate this. Could someone help me out.
