FOR ANYONE LIKE ME THAT COULDNT GET THE GAME TO SHOW UP AS A SPLIT GAME THIS IS WHAT I DID. I COPIED THE GANE TO HDD ( I COULDNT FIND THE FILES AFTERWARDS BUT IDK IF THATS APART OF HOW I GOT IT TO WORK) AND FOUND THE GAME FILES IN THE USB SECTION ON MM FILE.MANAGER AND CLICKED ON THE E.BOOT FILE AND THE GAME LAUNCHED AND INSTALLED THE DATA.
Comes in handy for the games that black screen. I never split them though as I can transfer large files from my pc to ps3 at 20MB/sec. Very few games black screen. I'm not a fan of the whole external HDD thing. I have a 750GB internal and run all my games without a disc in the drive, gotta love it.
My question is, When we are in FAT32 and we use a splitted file it installs a part of it on the internal HDD but when we do it with an ISO it does not do that. My question is, When we split an ISO does it install it like a splitted folder in the internal HDD?

No need to split games anymore. Use a drive formatted to ntfs and use multiman or managunz to transfer the games to the pd3 hdd. You xan then copy them into the ps3 games folder. It easier and quicker than splitting games files.
hey i have a question, i tried this method to my games, red dead redemtion and mgs4gotp, red dead redemtion play flawlesly but mgs4gotp blackscreen before go to main menu, why could this happen ?

I tried splitting the 6GB iso to 2 smaller iso with the split function, but when I load the game from USB, it does not work. Is it something that might go wrong with splitting the file for me? I have webman thing on my PS3

Hey versatile not sure if your aware, but I was reading that the ps4 can now be jailbroken. Supposedly you have to be on ofw 1.76. Have you by any chance looked into that, and if so, do you plan on making any videos and having a new series of tutorials?

ok, i have a question considering i am a total noob. I downloaded games ( psx/ps2/ps3 and other gameconsolesystems.. Som are in chd format and some are iso format. How do i go further on this to make them playable iso to transfer to the ps3 harddisk? I have cfw 4.91 hen installed and multiman and webman and filemanager and managuz on the ps3. But the question is: how to make this all in a playable iso on the ps3, transferring them with ftp program
I can't speak for CHD files, but for ISO files I believe you use ftp program like filezilla or winscp, login to the ps3, and transfer the iso files to the correct folder on the root of the ps3. It's been long time since I've done this, but if done correctly, then webman mod or multiman should see the isos on the internal hard drive and you can play them.
So i used mulitman to rip iso from a ps3 disc when i transferred it to my usb drive it split the iso to iso.0 and iso.1 what im trying to find out is how to merge them together so i can load them on a steamdeck to emulate them on rspc3
When multiman copies the PS3 ISO to the internal hard drive on the ps3, is it one ISO? Then transfer to PC using ethernet so you get the complete ISO and not split. I've never merged split iso files before, so maybe google or a question on psx-place.com forums can help.
@Project Phoenix Media i tried transferring to my pc but it was taking so long, you mean connect the ps3 to my laptop via ethernet, even at 100mb it was insanely slow. In the end i managed to use ps3 tools to give me 3 files which i loaded on the steam deck the game started up and kept throwing messages like the file is corrupt etc or the game has crashed
I have another question, I would like to use this tool, that you have shown, to split a game which has files over 4GB. For example God of War. If I split it, and open webman to play it, does it mean that I can play the split ISO game without extracting to the HDD? I now have so little space left...
I downloaded naruto ninja storm 1 when I downloaded that was in two parts when I extracted them in a folder it was not in iso form but it was in files how can I play that in ps3 emulator please help me

Ok i mounted the iso on a virtual drive, then i split it and placed it on my desktop, i then put it in my DVD folder on my usb. It doesnt show up, what seems to be the problem?

I did use your method of usbextreme for my ps3 previously. But now im asking how can i split ps2 games to play on my ps2 running fcmb. Sorry maybe i shouldve made that more clear.
i can use ntfs drives on my ps3 with managunz as it detects ntfs automatically without any extra software unlike webman.. although you still need webman and prepntfs to play games off the ntfs drive managunz is just another file explorer with built in support for ntfs.. i can copy files from ntfs instead of using fat32 meaning i don't need to split any of the files.. but what i meant by can i use any program i want is that does the playstation tools thing add compatibility settings or just convert to iso? if you just need to have the folder as iso i can just use anytoiso and make the whole process much easier..
i just tried it and can confirm that as long as you have the full version of webman (you have to install the latest version from brewology) and prepntfs, then yes you can convert your folders to iso using ANY program and they will work with webman.. in the root of your drive you have to create the folder for your specific game type (such as for ps1 games create folder named PS1ISO for ps2 name PS2ISO for ps3 name PS3ISO and for psp name PSPISO all folders must be named in caps and in the root of your drive..) next put ps1, ps2, ps3 or psp games (must be in iso format only) into their designated folders and after that put your drive in your ps3 and webman will automatically detect the games..
