Just to make it clear to those who are not been able to aplly the effect. Before you alt-click the watch and paste the expression you have got to have applyed a normal position effect just like he did in the video.

An amazing video. Sadly Version 16.1.3 doesn't seem to support the script, unless I messed up, but I do not think so. I have tried several times! Perhaps, somebody knows how to correct this?

Doesn't work for me at all. After alt clicking the watch, it adds line with "Expression: Position" and some buttons, but that's all. Tried toggling the buttons on and off but nothing ever happened. What's the problem? Does it require some special plugins to work?

Anyone who is having trouble with the"Bounce Back Expression". It is best to copy and paste from original document and use it that way. I also saved the document from the link that pops up to my computer then copy and pasted it and it worked. If you copy it to a plain text application the copy and paste from it, then it will not work and gives the error. Sorry for long explanation hope this helps.

Great tutorial Sergei, I got the first expression to work but the second one was coming up with 'Error at line 1 in property 'Position' of layer 1 ('Box') in comp 'Comp 3'. ? does not have a value. When I enter the expression it adds question marks and wraps all the code so not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Man, how do I do this with text? drop with little bouncy effect? I want to have, Text drop (from off screen) to centre and bounce a little bit with damping frequency (means the amount of bounce getting smaller and reached to zero) and then the text drop to the bottom (off screen again).

The GMS that you use here is completely different softing than the one I use even though I'm using tNice tutorials exact software, why is tNice tutorials?

-SOLUTION- I had the same problem with the drop expression, but I start to eliminate all the "?" that appear when I paste the expression and then reorganize it to match the pdf, when I finish the expression works perfectly. I hope this works for all. Sorry for my english, it's not my native language.

Hey awesome video and I've been using it for a while now. The expression currently stoped working for me and I was wondering if it's me or ae changed something which won't allow this expression to work anymore. Any chance you want to create a new video with an other expression?

Hi , I've tried copy and pasting this expression to both my scale and position properties all day without any success. I've copied and pasted the expression from multiple websites and have even tried on multiple computers so I'm thinking this is just the result of user error. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
