Very nice video. I appreciate how you went through all of the supplies needed and exactly how to make the jump rings without buying the jump ring tool. Thank you!
these are very beautiful, and youre good at giving clear instruction, but if you open and close the jumprings 'sideways' instead of straight apart and squeezing them closed like you did, you may or may not find that more difficult to do, but you would save yourself from a deforned jumpring and manage to keep the shape of that perfect circle you spent all that time forming and would result in a more professional overall look. because these
Just some alternative information for people. A good way to coil wires is to buy some steel rods in different sizes and attach them to a power drill or ideally a variable speed drill. You can create lots of good quality coil in different sizes quickly and accurately. Alternative to using wire cutters, a Junior Hacksaw is cheap and excellent for cutting the coils to make high quality jump rings. The big drawback that it is a slower method with risk of injury so care must be taken.
yanno, round-nose-pliers are a lot easier than toothpicks and stuff, lol and using 2 tools to open/close jumprings, won't f*ck up your nails - I went through this, too. haha also I find it always distracting if people doing craftswork with hands, have long nails. but that might just be me. aside from that, you have a great, clear voice for tutorial stuff.
U need a professional cutter for jump rings, that is why u were struggling with cutting. The coils shd have been tighter & not so loose. Apart from that the tutorial is very good.
The design is nice, but the execution is a bit off. I was taught to never open and close rings that way. Each to their own. Also, jump rings can be purchased already cut apart, and a sharp pair of cutters would have helped.
vc parece que tem dificuldade para fazer isto, cansa a gente...passa para a gente que e muito dificil,....e sei que nao e,...porque ja vi outros fazendo com muita facilidade.
