Sure, here are the steps to implement a feature in a chat app created using MIT App Inventor CloudDB that displays the number of online users: Drag a CloudDB component from the Palette to the Viewer. In the Blocks Editor, create a list variable called "OnlineUsers" and initialize it to an empty list. You can share the apk to your android phone and install the apk in the android phone instead of using bluestacks or any emulators as you have a macbook.

There are two ways, you can download the MIT AI2 Companion from Play Store and scan the QR Code in MIT App Inventor. Or, you can generate .apk file and install in your mobile.
