I'm an interior design student and I was wondering if you could create a tutorial on interior lighting specifically for archviz projects, such as apartment interiors or living rooms. While the fundamentals of lighting remain the same, a tutorial focused on archviz would be incredibly helpful and straightforward for the archviz community. Please consider creating such a tutorial.

Thanks for sharing! Some great tips. Before adding any additional local or practical lights I would work on getting better GI in the interior. And then compare against a PathTraced render to be used as ground truth. Lumen is great but always requires help with darker areas receiving indirect bounce light!

Thanks Karim, such insight! I would love to see a tutorial about how you’d light animated characters in an outdoor midday scene. Do you key the lights to follow them as they move? Is there a way to do negative fill like you have with maya and negative lights? How do you approach making reflectors? Thanks! 🙏🏼

Love it, just a question, is there a reason why you use very high light intensities and lower them with the post process instead of setting a lower intensity from the beginning?

Nice lighting. But where people are sitting together there should be some real-life source indicating light is coming from there. Maybe that outside camera some candle or something is illuminating, or you can add some light nearest pillar.

can you please do an interior scene where no light from outside is coming in? I'm curious to see what is the viable way to lit the ambient if you decide to go with no skylight for the closed interior scene (With Lumen)
