Thank you for sharing this video. What do you do if the product picture is not shown as a stand alone but on a model? How do you change the image without a model wearing the item?
Thank you so much for this! I'm a new stylist so this is really helpful to get me started on style guides. I was using PowerPoint and pages which was very time consuming!
I have wanted to do this for so long and I was unsure if it was ok to use product photo's with out permissions? Could I have issues with copywriter if used for promoting my Pinterest? So it was interesting to hear your explanation. Do you think it is ok with the photographer? Or would you making money from it -- be an issue with the license to use ?
Hi Shelby! The app has changed slightly, but the process is roughly the same. I shared how to use the app in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Nel9XCV8IxU.html 💛
This video was super helpful, thank you! My only question is, are you allowed to take other peoples' photos without their consent? Do you have to reach out to each company first and get written permission to use their photographs? Thanks!
Thank you for posting. While I prefer to do all of my work on a computer, even if you create that image on your computer in Canva, you still have to then get the image on your phone because LTK will only allow the post to proceed from the phone. That means the description text needs to be typed on the phone (which can lead to typos way too easily!) or, if I want to make the process take even longer, I can type up the description text on my computer on, say, Notepad, save it to Dropbox, and then open the file from Dropbox on the phone, copy the text, and paste the text into the new LTK post - on the phone. So. Much. Time! I came from MagicLinks where we can do everything on the computer. I have two large monitors, drag-&-drop files all day long, etc., which is faster and I'm less likely to make an error than I am on the phone. On MagicLinks I can create 1 link for a bunch of products and ML will bring over each product's image for me automatically - I don't have to screenshot / background-remove any image details. But ML doesn't pay very well, so here I am trying to do LTK and I can't stand working on the phone. It adds hours to my work just for one post. I'm a RU-vidr primarily, and the thought of this time-consuming extra work on the phone is mind-boggling. I like to save time, not spend more of it. I've told LTK we need to be able to do everything via computer. Not sure when they'll put $ and resources into updating their code!
@@mentionedbymarli I've been in touch with Zara and they actually said I would need to contact them first to get permission 😬. Could it be because Zara gets the credit from sales not the person who took the photo? I'm so confused because I really don't think many influencers do get permission first...and there is so much mixed information out there 🙈
