I’m not even joking this helped so much. This is so easy to do, this step took me 4 minutes after drenching my hair in water so I can brush it. DO THIS. I have 3b curls, and my hair looked amazing today when I did it this morning. NO FRIZZ. My curls were collected and literally stunning. I got compliments as well.
I ought to try this. My hair waves when scrunched, but they're VERY loose S's. I haven't been able to figure out if I have 1B or 2A hair yet because water (when it's wet) and gravity (when it's dry) pulls my hair flat so quickly. If I brush it, it's puffy straight with no discernible waves. If I add conditioning product after showering, it's over lol. But my hair HAS waves.

@@ellieB_NZ2004 I shower my 3b curly every 4 days. I brush it every morning though. I run it under the sink and drench it, brush through, add a tiny bit of product and then do this 🙏
All these people in the comments misunderstanding the video. They are not trying to teach people how to create curls, there trying to teach people who already have existing curly hair how to enhance those curls. Get your facts straight before you make assumptions and jokes that don’t even make sense 🤦🏻♀️
Not everyone knows that though, some people could've thought it was a tutorial on how to get curls- I have curly hair and I didn't even know the term "curl clumps" existed til now lol
But that's exactly why the creator shpuld've specified that. You said it yourself. NOT EVERYONE knows about it, so now onder many people are misunderstanding it... Use your logic. Also, it's just jokes. And most of them made perfect sense. Unless you're the one that have a problem with your reading comprehension.
@@korettopun1203 it’s not their job to do anything… they simply wanted to make a tutorial on how to enhance curls, which, if you see her other videos and know about her in general you would have already known. It’s not her ‘job’ to specify everything for everyone. Curl clumps are a common term, she doesn’t need to explain what they are cause she expects people to already know what it means… especially since half of her content revolves around looking after curly hair and creating curl clumps. It’s not her fault if y’all don’t understand, she did nothing wrong.
I have wavy/coily hair and have been trying ways to make it less poofy and more wavy/coily without it taking the whole morning!! Definitely gonna try this tonight. I’ll try to remember to let y’all know how it goes!! Edit - soooo I kinda forgot about it lol but I just showered so I’m trying it right now. It’s not working 😭 idk if I’m doing it wrong, or if my brush just isn’t working for it or what, but I can’t get it to curl like the video. Maybe I’ll keep practicing and see if I can get it to work, but for now this is a fail for me
You’re probably doing it wrong. Make sure your hair is pretty wet and already brushed. I grab a section and put the brush underneath the hair then add tension and twist it
i have curly hair and everytime i brush my hair it turned out so frizzy and the curls were ugly but now this method looks so good imma try it thank you😍❤

To all the people in the comment section who are misunderstanding, here's how it works. Wavy and curly haired people have hair that dries in any shape or direction, and amiant consistent at all - and normally for types 2b to 3b, the waves or curls tend to be lose and will unfurl in a couple of days if not tended to. This just helps put all the similarly curling hair into a group and it twists around each other. This way, the curls are more intentional, less frizzy and for those mentioned hair types, will also last longer. Straight hair doesn't have this ability so this doesn't "create" curls.
If you want your best curl, condition and comb tangles out with conditioner in hair. Rinse carefully and towel dry upside down without ever brushing or combing post towel drying.

It's not meant to curl hair really, it's meant to help curly girls tame and add volume to their already existing curls, so if your hair is naturally straight it will not dry as anything other than wavy
Give this method a try! This definitely can help shape curls, but using styling product like a defining gel or curl cream will help those curls stay popping all day long ❤️
I don’t have any products for my waves unfortunately, but I usually brush my hair while it’s wet, bang my head like a metalhead, use my fingers to shake it out a bit, then I’ll either use my bare hands or a towel to scrunch it up a bit and add definition Usually lasts only a day or so, but it looks pretty good I think!
You don’t brush curly hair dry, it leads to breakage and ultimately will pull out a lot of hair. Using a brush is a great thing to do when your hair is soaked. You can’t use only a comb otherwise your hair will end up with knots and clumped areas
this is for people who have natural curly/coily hair, and to define it. If you have straight/wavy hair, this isnt for you, This is to define the curls, and that method is not easier for the people with the hair type in the video.
⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ do NOT do this with a comb! Always use a BRUSH. A comb will get tangled in knotted hair and you’ll end up having to CUT IT OFF. Trust me, I found out the hard way. ⚠️⚠️⚠️ MAKE THIS TOP COMMENT SO EVERYONE KNOWS

If only I saw this Saturday 🙇🏻♀️ I was getting so fed up with my curls because they were starting to get stringy and frizzy and I got tired of trying to figure out how to brush them to not be like that (it’s been a year since I shaved my head so I forgot lol) but I caved and did a Brazilian Straight Keratin perm last night.
I tried it one time and it stuck because I have very thick hair, and then after trying for an hour I had to cut my hair but a little. And it's true not fake
