This was not a how to.... It was a promo to this company that you put an affiliate link in the bio so you can make more money. My guy actually make a video that is what the title says. People come here to think you are showing them how to on their own.
Another winner, man your like an angel investor who doesn’t ask for anything. Love you man, looking forward to shaking your hand someday and do business with you .
🙏🏽 just want to help you all avoid the mistakes I made along the way! Looking forward to meeting you one day. I’ll be having a giveaway + events coming up through the summer. Possibly invite some people to link up at Magic in August. 🙌🏽
Hi. John, Thank you for this video!! I thought I could start my own manufacturing company. Boy was I wrong. After watching is video the first time, I contacted our local fashion community called the Detroit Garment Group. They provide assistance in developing fashion products for designers in this area. Since my product is a new design, I need it all!! I will also contact Indie-Source. I need a video about preparing a budget entering into developing a new product. Thanks Kathy
I've never watched this RU-vidr before so I don't know how he rolls, but he was the tourist not the worker. I'd assume the worker would actually know more about the process so it's kinda awkward that he's trying to explain the guy's explanations again.
This is dope but I imagine it is very expensive. I'm here in NYC in the process of making jeans. There is no place here that has sourcing, manufacturing, and washing at the same place. I have to source my denim alone, found a manufacturer/pattern-maker, and now finding a washhouse.(Only 2 here in the East coast). I have to still look for a place to print things on denim as well as embroidery. I had to source my other materials like hardware from China(custom stuff). Its a big hassle but I think I'll manage. Thanks for the insight on how its goes in LA. Seems so simple and everything at one place there with professionals. I can only imagine the price tag tho.
I agree with what you said; this maybe a little pricey.. please im in the process of making denim shirts, could you help, I’m in the East coast as well, MA.. we can email
Excellent Video! Excuse me for butting in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Panaylee Renowned Prepotence (probably on Google)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for finding luxury or designer goods at wholesale or lower prices without the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my good mate called Gray at last got astronomical success with it.
just to clarify. i clicked on the page, is it 197 dollars just for a meeting and talk about what were trying to do, or do? or do i get samples with that?
Hey Fernando, the $197 is for our kickoff meeting which is where we plan out your line with you, establish financial targets, review desired fabrics and fit. This is the also gives us clarity as to exactly what you'll be making. By the end of the meeting we'll provide a quote for your development based on your specific collection. Hope this helps explain. If you have more questions please let us know ;)
I’m about to be 16 and I’m stressing on how am I gonna make it to having something little to something huge and it’s like I really want this to happen but how do I start and where do I start
Exactly I’m 17 and in the same boat like in order to get paid you have to pay first like if u open a factory for ur clothes shoes etc. u have to find a group of designers to design ur stuff u have to provide them with machines u need to hire graphic designers on top of that pay them and pay for the build...it’s a lot 😭
Iv watched plenty of ur videos and iv never subscribed because I would always see you talking about tee shirt and it wasn't what I was looking for but ur thumbnails and titles always suggested otherwise....but this video is the one that just got u a new subscriber today, this is exactly what iv been looking for from u 👍
Appreciate you 🙏🏽 glad I could help! And welcome aboard. If you’re getting into cut n sew I’d recommend you also checkout the academy I started: bit.ly/GroundUp-Academy
Thank you so very much appreciate the free game ! May the blessings in your cup overflow!! The both of you , if it's a population big enough for everyone to be successful thanks thanks thanks again
How is Indie source with waste? I am learning about a lot of place like Indonesia where they have tearable water waste from textile manufacturing, how does Indie source differ?
Can someone give me information on where to send my samples for only 100 units? I saw reviews in google about indie source and most of the comments are negative. Any other company? Thank you
Thanks for your introduction John . it does help me to understand the garment industrial better and deeper . i appreciate your efforts to explain how the business runs for the brands . it is very useful thing for me . Thanks Again
He's probably busy af., but yeah i noticed that too. still fairly nice overall and descriptive and gives us a better understanding of how garments are made from ideas to physical products.
Now that's is a good interview now that interview right there actually shows you someone who's making the brand cut in the brand. see what you were showing before t-shirts on very easy that's all you have to do is buy many t-shirts and just print them on that's it all sudden death your brand but this right here you actually making your brand meeting your garment. that's what I'm going to do I'm going to start making hip hop wear for women dresses stretch material so this interview on your website giving me the light to see I've been knowing what's going on but thank you for showing me more detail have a nice day but good interview
i’m a recent college drop out from an art course, thinking of starting making clothes since my course didn’t rlly have much fashion involved and due to me having so much time this seems like a good idea
@@MrBUGS713 i’m working with my dad which is giving me good income to support my idea. my art course had practically nothing fashion based in it other than a lesson a week, i was nearly finished anyways. my college runs a fashion club after col has finished but the journey is about 45 mins from where i live to the college on a bus.
If a pattern card design it in getting gamon is set digit in Port of provided texture. Neat shirts saifee pants slips will the order be provided itself as cut .
if I want to create a super customized cut and sewn garment but still want to fulfill my orders through a print on demand service, instead of holding inventory, how do I go about that process. do I first create the garment from a manufacturer then send it to a print on demand service or how does the process go, is that even possible?
It probably isn’t possible. If you want to I believe you could create the measurements and dimensions and send that to a manufacturer that can produce your custom design when $You$ demand it. Also be careful when choosing a manufacturer. Print on demand usually only is for vinyl designs. I’m not an expert but I tried to help. Good luck 👍🏾
I guess I’m wondering is there a brand or design approval process? Like what makes their brand different than what’s out there or is that even big deal? Do you have to research and make sure no else is doing the same thing? Very curious!!! Love the video plus the show making one ad well.
