I have used braiding hair to create edges for as long as I can remember and I'm 55 now. I think I started doing that back when I was in my early 40s, when my edges started thinning, But honey you have taken this concept to the next level. I know it is a dream for all of us that deal with alopecia and some way or form, whether it's a lot or just a small amount, to wear the same styles everybody else does, and it can be a hit to your heart when you can't. With young ladies like you showing how styles can be achieved without always having to wear wigs, is a blessing!
