How do you get glitter as swatch color? To fill in certain texts/designs?

thank you so much. How can I save them as color brush? is that possible?

It is possible to save color in the brush presets menu. Once you have your brush just how you want it you can follow these steps to save it. Step One: Open The Brushes Panel To save your brush as a custom preset, open the Brushes panel. Step Two: Create A New Preset Group The Brushes panel includes four groups, one for each of the four new brush sets (General, Dry Media, Wet Media, and Special Effects). You want to create a new group to help you easily find your custom brushes. Click the Create New Group icon at the bottom of the panel. Give the new group a name and save it. Step Three: Create a New Brush Preset In the Brushes panel, the new group appears as a folder below the others. To save your custom brush inside the group, make sure the group is selected, and then click the Create New Brush icon. Then name the brush you wish to save. Step Four: Include Brush Settings Photoshop will automatically save your settings from the Brush Settings panel, but you can also save the current size of your brush by selecting Capture Brush Size in Preset. To include the Tool Settings from the Options Bar, select Include Tool Settings. And if you want to save the color of your brush as part of the preset, select Include Color. Then click OK to save everything. I hoped this helped!

Great video but I'm having such a hard time finding one on how to create the glitter pattern. Do you have a tut for that? I have shapes I need to fill so I'd just like to save it as a swatch/pattern for future use. Thanks!

I am glad you liked the video! I do not have a tutorial on how to create the glitter pattern....yet. You can grab all of the glitter patterns in my Glitz & Glitter Pack over on Creative Market. I did find a great tutorial on how to create glitter over on Helen Bradley's channel. I hope this helps Sonya!

Hi, this tutorial is great but whenever I create a clipping mask, nothing happens! I have the correct layer highlighted, the pattern in the thumbnail for that layer is selected. I really have followed your every move but it just won't work. Any ideas?

Hi Missy, Sorry you are having trouble with creating the clipping mask. Without seeing your problem I am not sure why it isn't working for you. Usually it is as simple as making sure the layer you want to mask is right under the clipping layer, right clicking the clipping layer and create clipping mask. Here is the Adobe helpx. helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/clipping-masks.html

Thank you for the reply, in the end it was my misunderstanding of PS! The pattern was in a solid colour but the background was also solid and someone kindly pointed out that the background needed to be transparent. oopsies! I've fixed it now, thanks again for the great tutorial.
