Great tutorial... my question is, Easil allows to create animated overlays, for example for promoting social media, as PNG or animated GIF?

@@HectorCruzPR You can create GIFs in Easil, but not with transparent backs (yet!) We have some creative ideas on how to potentially use these and will experiment a bit further with the ideas in Streamyard, and come back with another tutorial!

The templates in Easil are set to have the transparent background, and will remain that way if downloaded as a PNG option. Thanks for doing this video Christian. One question, it seems like you would have to do two clicks to actually bring up a 2 up view. You woul dhave to pick the third preset and then go and click on th split screen,, effectively...am I mistaken on this or do you have a way to bring up the 2 up at the same time you bring up the split screen overlay?

You would have to do 2 clicks. Other ways the people do that is to keep the same view throughout their live stream. They set the overlay and cameras at the beginning before they start the livestream.

Excellent, thanks so much! just started with StreamYard, and I am a canva user, interesting easil is almost identical to Canva. on the split screen , what size are your squares so that tit picks up the stream?

Hi Diane! Similar in that we are both drag and drop tools - but we have quite a few differences too :) The duo screen in these overlays (with the larger area for text at the bottom) is specifically designed to fit for 2 guests on Streamyard. However if there are other views you'd like to see, just let us know and we'll add more to the sets!

Hello! Thanks for amazing video...I have a Question 4U...If I am using a single camera background and then I have to switch to two cameras (guest), how do I put the background of two cameras without it being noticed? It would have to be too fast right? Is there a way to link a camera layout to a camera overlay?

Hi Joe, sorry this was missed. Did you download it as a PNG? It must be png format to retain transparency.

Is there currently any way to fade the transitions between the overlays or videos? This is seriously the only feature I believe Streamyard lacks.

Hey Jeremy, this is a question for Streamyard - but do know that other people are wanting this feature. Have you tried reaching out in their community? They have an active Facebook group where you'll get a better idea on their product roadmap!

I don't believe there is a countdown timer functionality in Streamyard at this stage. I'll tag someone in another channel to chime in and confirm if this isn't the case!

@@OlatundeFasanya keep in mind that the platform (StreamYard, Ecamm Live, and so on) does not matter. You just need to create the live video overlays, export them, and then bring them into StreamYard, Ecamm, etc. Hope that helps!

Hi Abdul, no it isn't free for this except for the trial period. It's only $7.50/month though, which helps pay for us to develop new features and awesome templates :) There is tons of stuff we offer for free though!
