To get rid of the noise, you can increase the screen percentage number in the viewport settings (top left corner), to 200. Although it does have a big impact; I would only use it to take some still photos.

@@VRDivision The Unreal produced videos I've watched on Lumen suggest that the artifacts you're seeing in the shadows around the 9:40 mark in the video are due to software ray traced results since you're using a 1080TI. RT capable cards should generate much cleaner results.

From the limited time I've looked at UE5 it seems that any geometry that is exposed to both interior and exterior lighting using lumen should be closed, fully modelled geometry. If there's no transparency in the mesh then convert it to nanite mesh and that mitigates the old problem of too many triangles hence the reason the geometry was left open in the first place to reduce graphic engine costs.
@VRDivision
@VRDivision 3 года назад
I think that's a great comment, I agree on closing the geo

Hi and thank you for this great video. I`m trying Unreal engine 5 too but I have a problem and don`t know what`s causing it. After setting up the lights , global ilumination it`s not working as it should. When I look at the light that is hitting the floor, GI is working, but when I change the view to the ceiling for example, and I can`t see the light that is hitting the floor, GI dissapears. Anywhere I look in the scene, where I can`t see the light hitting the mesh, I can`t see the GI . It`s like it`s getting deactivated. Is there any light cache that I need to enable ? Thank you!
