I’ve been wanting to make my own press ons (personal use) for ages and this vid was so helpful! It would be awesome if you could do a vid or list with the products and tools you use, even if you put a paywall behind it (with patreon or something), I would really find it useful :) ty!!
Bruhhh this is incredible!! Press ons are so much easier for me than trying to paint a creative design on my non dominant hand 😅 I finally made some applied them with what I thought was careful execution; but they were popping off after 4 days! I would love your insights on how you best keep ur babies on 💅🏼🙏🏼
Thank you so much for showing how the nails look already being worn..you don't know how satisfying that is for me as someone who loves to watch people painting nails
I have no idea how your videos started playing one day, but I have maybe watched them all, twice. That was about 2 weeks ago. I was about to start doing gel-x nails as a side hustle, but have now offiially just started press on nail business. You’re videos are incredibly informative, encouraging, and gave me just the push I needed. So thank yo!! I have been dabbling in art for years without finding a find to make any money at it, and this really excites me, even though I have hardly a clue yet.
Thank you so much for this Vid I'm definitely making you m y go to guru for this. I'm a nail tech and I'm going blind. Since I can't work in a salon I figured I can start my own press on nails. You're an inspiration I appreciate the steps you take doing this.
I’m starting a press on nail business on the side on top of my jewelry business as well. Best of luck and thank you so much for sharing. I truly appreciate all these great process that you’re sharing with us. ❤
I love watching your videos. They are very informative and things I wish I knew before I started making mine. Your nail art work is so beautiful. I hope one day I can figure out how to start my own press on business. Thank you for the videos they are so helpful.
Have you heard of the quarter method for sizing? Where your client takes a photo of their nails with a quarter in the frame, you then match a quarter to size perfectly against the photo and can then size the nails over the photo. What do you know/think about this as a sizing tool?
Hello help me i want to start doing press on nails. Do you recommend buying the materials at Shein? I am not financially independent so don't judge me, I can't ask my parents to buy expensive cuz I'm not sure if I'll be good at it pressonnails
Im so excited for your next video! What do you recommend as the first step in creating your press on nail business? I have been looking to start one but have felt so overwhelmed with where to begin because I feel like there's so much to do. I don't mind doing the work and understand it will be a lot of time and responsibility. Im so happy I found your video through Tik Tok. This video was very helpful.
so glad it was helpful! going to hopefully cover all these questions in upcoming videos. First step I would say practice your art/ nails, and start sharing your work (even before you are ready to launch…it takes a while to grow an audience/ following/ build trust w customers!) 💜
This is so helpful, and for free, you're an angel :) tysm ! I'm curious about something : i had no idea you had to buff the nails before starting painting, and the product you apply seems to be very thick and wobbly, but when you paint the 1st pink layer, it's all smooth, how so ? I've been wanting for a long time to start doing my own press on nails and your channel is super helpful, ty again so so much, really ♥
Hi Mini Ami! What a super educational video! I'm just new to the nail industry and I also want to start making press on nails. May i ask where you got your nails from? I can't find good nails anywhere… Looking forward to your next video!🫶🏻
‘You nice, keeping going’ are you a BTS fan? 👀 Also I was looking for videos on how to do my own press ons because I don’t want to expose my skin to UV light but still want the look of gel (and I still might try it) but this video just made me want to order from your shop more than anything else 😭 watching how much attention and care you put into your products was incredible. Wishing you more and more success! I’ll definitely be placing an order soon 💕💕
The video was amazing but I’ve been watching several vids based on this top and I’m frustrated not to find the answers I seek :( I’ll keep doing my research but what exactly do we provide to the client to apply the press ons and ensure they are going to hold and last w out damaging their natural nails ????
Absolutely gorgeous. Would you ever consider making a product list? I have no clue where to get those pre cut double stick tape not the design size of the cards for mounting the nails. Thank you for any response 🙏
I feel like I don’t understand why the very first hot pink layer is necessary? Is to just to match the pink details once applied and you can see the underside of the nail?
i've seen you on tiktok!!! i'm so glad you appeared on my youtube home page :-') i was also just getting into press on nails when i realised a 6 led bulb lamp (those mini ones) isn't going to cure my nails completely LMAO (i've placed it in like 6-7 times for 30s and it's still not fully cured) so am waiting to get my hands on a bigger nail lamp TT in the mean time will definitely enjoy ur videos hehehe
This is an old video, so idk if you will see this comment, but can you please make a video on how to apply the press on nails so they actually stay on and not pop off. Then, how to remove them in a way you can reuse the nails if possible.
What do you suggest we do in order to be able to wear our press ons without them popping off but also able to be removed without damage? Also if anyone wants to practice making press ons but doesnt have to budget for all the fancy stuff, I recommend Miss A/AOA Studio press on nails. They arent the best but they are fairly sturdy for a dollar per set. You will definitely have leftovers but I just use them to test and practice out designs :D
Can you share what brand and where to buy the non scratch top coat? Also what are you dipping the nails in before adding to the cards? Ive been watching your videos, so inspiring and I’m taking your advice and just getting started! Thank you so much! You do lovely work!
I thought i had too much stuff. Now i know that i need more!!!!! Thank you for this! I cant wait to get it all in order and make my first sell. Im drooling over your color collection! I use an eyeshadow brush to lay the chrome..
this is soooo helpful thank you a lot! as someone who loves managing tidying things up i love how organised this is! i was wondering, as someone who wants to start START a press-on nails business while having little budget, do you have any suggestions on how to choose colours as my starting kit? like i dont have the budget to buy every single colours i want 😂 do i have to buy primary colours and work my way up there by mixing some of them to get the colour i want, or is it better to just follow what my niche is and buy accordingly? (and even so, what colours i should buy? should i have to have black and white gel as my option or what 😂 the constrains are overwhelming) sorry i ask too much but i would appreciate a lottt if you take your time to answer this
ouuuu I love this question! Maybe I’ll make a whole other video about this…in the meantime my “10 products to start a press on nail shop” is a great place to start!
Woow increíble el video.. Me quedé enamorada de tus diseños y principalmente de tu area de trabajo.. yo también realizó press on nail's Saludos de Argentina
I aspire to do this! I’ve always loved painting my nails and nail art in general. I want to practice on myself until one day I am able to create a small at home business where I can sell press on nails
Hi, thank you so much for all the details, very generous from you❤ i like to know hoy you avoid air bubbles under the tip? When we do soft gel the indication is to avoid air under the tip in order to prevent any fongus . How do you now there is no air? Love your work! Cheers from chile
such a good question - water will only be able to enter if there are bubbles or lifting around the edges. If there is an air bubble in the middle it will likely affect the longevity of the press on but until the edges lift (which is visibly noticeable) you don't really have to worry too much about it. Going to make an application video though to talk about avoiving air bubbles getting long lasting press ons x
If you have any design already disposable and not customizable, how do you choose the measurements of the tips? Or do you just make them to your measure, take a picture and say that design is just like that, and you make the design following the client's size of tips? It's a bit curious because I've seen people selling press on nails in public places, but how do they know what measures to put and that the size is universal?
I have questions!!! What was the first thing you applied on the nails and what was the purpose of it? Secondly why you applied pink nail paint before black??
Its all in the captions. It's a tip primer that etches the surface so she doesn't have to manually buff them, and because she wanted pink to show on the underside
I personally want to try this method because it will allow me stick the nails under the uv light longer without having my fingers/skin affected. Ive realized that the gel i use has been taking FOREVER to curebunder the lamp 😢
Who are the tips for? I ask because normal polish isn't gonna last like gel will. Think of normal polish, like painting your own nails, so yes you can do it - but you will experience the same things your own fingers do with normal polish. Chipping, peeling, scratches, dents, it wears off, etc. So, if these are for yourself, then go for it. To sell to a customer??? I would tell them it's regular polish beforehand... Hope this helps 😊
@@catpride1323 Thanks. I was thinking of doing them for myself and my friends, because i need some skill before selling them. But I really want them to look nice and to last long so probably I would just use gel when I start 🤷🏻♀️
@@wixizdobywamyminecraft6368 Good choice 😊 Besides I forgot to mention that with polish each set would probably take a week... lol Each layer has to dry.. Gel, is 30 - 60 sec. each layer 😊
How do you know when to ship the orders ? When it comes to sizing for example if the customer gives you the ml do you meassure the tips to match it or do the nails come with the details ?
Q 1: I have a 14days processing time, so I know that to meet customer expectations, I have to ship them no later than two weeks after they’ve made their purchase. Q 2: On the apres website there is a chart that details the tip sizes in mm (inner curve, length and width) of each nail tip size. So I use the inner curve measurement to match to the customer’s size
I absolutely love your videos!I got inspired to start press on nail business too.But Im having issues. My polish keeps peeling off while i cure it.Ive bought really expensive and products of high quality. So I am thinking should i use the nail prep gel u used in the beginning?Id be so thankful if u would reply to me
Love the video. I literally just stared doing press on for me but i my nail seem to be shrinking in size. Do you have any tips on how to avoid this or why it even happens?
Love this Video 😍 Are those All special Orders? Because of the nail sizes. My idea is to make much more sizes in one Design and sell it like so, but there would be nails left over and this is stupid because of the effort which is put in every nail. This is my only thing where I dont know how to Deal with it. Keep going. Best wishes 👍🏼😉
ugh this is such a struggle…I have customers size and do only 10 because my designs are often complex if you are doing simpler designs it might be worth doing more than 10
