How did you get the color blocks on the front end when you did not do any specific thing for that on the back end. I am using Debut Theme, but it doesn't work. This is a good video but it doesn't answer this question, so please do let us know. Thanks :)
Hi, loved your video, very helpful! How did you get those color swatches to come up? I didn't see you do that in any part of the video. They seemed already set up some how.
plz i have multi variant product eimport them by operlo can curious them show them as radio button they not colr or size they different style of boho ankelt
I love your video. My friend wants to open a store, she is working hard adding items. I sent this video to her, it’s impossible for her to add to many color in the same box. She wrote blue (, coma) and the page sent her down to another space. She is selling earrings and she needs a down menu with the extra colors. Did you add a code in the settings? Thank you for your time.
HELP! I am TOTALLY new at this and have about 40 products that I individually created, (most are separated into collections) However...because I already individually created them, and then put them into collections... they "came with a sku" .....and now that I created variants I have 2 sets of sku's and dont know how to fix this without messing up the sku's. feels like i did some stuff backwards...Thanks in advance
Hi there, thank you so much for taking your time to do these RU-vid videos, I know they're very time consuming and it is much appreciated. Without these videos, I'd be lost! I have a question though, what is the best size file for images? A size that is high quality, yet very fast to load on both cell phone and desktop/tablet. I read an article that said 2400 x 2400 pixels in photoshop, so I converted all of my designs from photoshop to jpeg 2400 x 2400 pixels. They average around 200-300kb, is that good? I'm new to all of this. A response would be greatly appreciated!!!!
im having an issue not with shirt color changes..but my shirts are different colors and the font colors are also different in some cases...I am trying to not have to have multiple images of the same shirt just because the font is white on one and red or black on another....im sure im just Shopify illiterate but it shouldn't be that hard in variant settings...or again maybe its just me being new and dumb lol...any help would be appreciated :)
Hello! Awesome video! I have a question, how did you add the color blocks? I think this is crucial since we want people to see the colors instead of words as options.
Thank you so much for the great tutorial! Bulkify is currently one of the most popular Shopify apps. You can easily manage, edit, and update your product collection with the help of Bulkify. You can also track the history of changes to your data. It is one of the best bulk editors for editing metafields and archiving products without using CSV or Excel.
Please ma am new to shopify can you please do a video on how to write a good name and description of a product? I don't know how I can do it to convert sales
A lot of naming is due to knowing exactly who your ideal customer is so you can talk directly to them. Check out our video and free guide on that here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CI-cqrLJfu4.html
What about a very big range of long-term products, how do you do price increases? Would you need to update maybe thousands of product prices individually or could you update with a csv file import?
I need this exact thing, BUT, my store is bundling 5 options or more together in the same order. So the customer would choose each item, and color for 5 items ( and an option to add infinite items/colors as well) How would I enable this.
What if each size has different shipping rates? How would you suggest setting that up? I hv signs that look the same but come in different sizes and obviously the bigger they are the more it costs to ship...
Very good tutorial. No fluff at the front and to the point!!! I have a question. Our customers need to select colours, which you have defined how to implement here in the variants tutorial. But the customer also needs to add names, weights, date, etc, as well as be able to select an embroidery design from a large selection of embroidery designs. Can you tell me how to do this in Shopify. Thank you
Yes you can create them as shown in the video and then just change the price on the variants that you want to be different. Then when someone comes to your product page it will change the price based on what variant they choose.
If you are going to offer it as variant options then you will follow the tutorial to create variants for 1pc, 5 pc and 10pc and then can change the price for each of these. This will then display as a dropdown option on your product page.
