I really like the idea of the hanging shelves, despite not being functional, they look great even if they're only decorational. I was hoping you were going to demonstrate a two storey shop, I imagine the second floor would need a separate path to it? I agree with what you said about this update being as big as deep diving. Souvenir shops are such a big change to the game
I actually spoke too soon, can't do two story shops. The game only lets you place them on the ground. But hopefully Frontier will change that! Thanks for watching!
@@8bitJosh actually I tried, you can actually stack them, but you will need a path staircase up to the second one. If you want guests accessing both the top and bottom floor from the "inside" of a building, the minimum external wall space you need is 5x4 (20x16m)
Your poster display stand is so cool! I took some of the merchandise and used it to decorate nature scenes around my zoo--frog plushie on a leaf, spider hat on a rock--and included a little sign nearby "Available in the souvenir shop." Such world-building we can do!!
My few thoughts are putting a shop across a vital path with two entry/exits so guests must go through... Will there be shoplifters/shop thieves? Shop "wall" as glass wall of exhibit so can see animals while in shop... Eg: see lions and display has lion hats, t-shirts and posters? Will we get other shops like a food shop...? Sandwiches, drinks etc.
Check guest thoughts for the ones turning around. Perhaps your prices are too high. Also double check your displays are connected to the shop. If they're not, guest won't go in.
I tested the prices, by setting everything to $1.00. and they still wont enter. Additionally, everything is connected. Ugh, I am losing hope. @@8bitJosh
