How to create a strong password: put your cat on your keyboard.

My theory is that its good to use words in different languages that use English letters. You can use a short sentence in that language that no one would even think about. For instance, if your favorite movie is "The Godfather," you can use a 20 word quote in Italian and you'll always remember it. On paper it looks like a bunch of random letters, and you can add some capital letters and numbers to it to make it even harder. It's almost as secure as Fort Knox.

Passwords arent shit when key logging viruses exist.

I always put the n word in my password because no one would expect it.

Put your password as “strong password” and now you have a strong password.

Or use a password manager, the one I use now is LastPass

I use a really good password tracker. Believe it or not it’s actually so good it can’t be hacked and I can use it without turning my phone on. It’s called a piece of paper in my nightstand drawer

These are good tips the only one I strongly disagree with is the 8 character minimum. Passwords should be 12 characters in length minimum with them being ideally 16+. Anything less than 12 characters is easy to brute force

No. I need tips on how to remember it for more than 5 minutes. Especially when Samsung Pass and Chrome won't ask if I want it remembered when I'm done.

My company forces all staffs to change their password each month, with min 10 characters, up & low cases, and symbol. And they couldn't be reused or even similar combination. Everyone ends up writing their pw on a sticky note and hide under their keyboard.

Correcthorsebatterystaple. Google that comic. An overly long passphrase that you will always remember but would take ages for a algorithm to get through. There is a concept of dictionary attacks, but words only you alone know always works. My Google password is basically a whole chapter of a book but I can always remember the phrase
