I've been the whole afternoon working on the subtitles of a video, and when I finally finish it I discover it has to be a plan that costs nothing but $300. You should have mentioned this detail before, man.
@@organifiedbox I usually do my captions in Premiere Pro, manually entering each timing and so, but I got so frustrated after this that I just uploaded the video without captions xD
you have to buy a Plan, that's non-sense.. and not free even to download the SRT file. you should have told us that, all what I have done, is that I wasted my time in doing some work which at the end I have to pay to get it.
Definitely make sure you're prepared to pay for this service lol, just spent a bunch of making the subtitles and I can't even download the watermarked version without them asking me to pay 😆 EDIT: just ended up copying and pasting to Davinci Resolve with the time stamps from Veed
It's pretty neat but It's not offline which makes this software useless to me and most of them. And I came to know it costs around $300 which makes this 100% useless.
Hi bro if my video got background music on will it create the subtitles correctly or it won't , can you please let me know how i can do this the one with background music or advice me how i can add the SRT file on my RU-vid video . thank you
Is there a way to use an SRT file and then have the subtitles appear word by word, from the center of the screen? I know how to do this manually, but can't find a way to automate
Anyone who is looking for quick solution tutorial, Just watch the 1st minute and then, scroll down to minute 5;09 so you can se how to export the SRT... You will save a lot of time.........
I've never gave any video on you tube a thumb down before, but this is the first one in my entire life because I've spent too much time putting subtitle on and at the end it requested my bank detail. This is not cool man, bad marketing. I'm very upset!!!
This is fantastic, and many thanks for sharing. Now how would I go about translating words let say spoken in Portuguese to English Subtitles? Could you assist please?
I also want to use veed i have one problem the language i speak is not available on veed so autotranscription will not be possible. Could you solve my problem out by telling me what to do then?
Hi Shmaia Elnatan! You can try VEED and edit videos for free, however, some features are limited or included in a paid subscription as it costs us money to maintain and improve all of our tools for everyone 😁. You can find all the FREE and Premium features and plans here: www.veed.io/pricing?RU-vid+Comments&RU-vid
Hey Siddu, that's right, we add watermarks to videos created using our free plan. At Veed, we have a big team working on improving the tool and making sure it runs well. We listen to our users, and try to make VEED better every day. All of this wouldn’t be possible if we wouldn’t charge some users, that’s why we’re super happy that we’ve got a lot of customers that are paying us. That being said, we want to keep the tool as accessible as we can, so that’s why we offer a lot for free. In return, we add the watermark to the videos that were made with our free version, so that our (free) users can help us spread the word about VEED. We hope you understand and thanks so much for editing your video with us. :)
I wanted to use VEED because I like the pricing, but I've tried to sample it twice under two different accounts and I can't get it to work. I tried on my phone on one account and once I uploaded the 15 second video, there were no options to go anywhere to create an SRT file. Then I created a different account on my laptop and I uploaded a 10 second video and after I uploaded it, the page simply turned completely white. I then x'd out of the program by closing the website and then went back into it. Every time I clicked on the project I had uploaded, the page simply turned completely white. I finally got it to work and it did a good job of creating the proper subtitles for my 10 second video (two sentences) but I couldn't test out the translation services, which is the most important to me. To try to translate it, you have to purchase the program. I don't want to pay $288 for something I can't even test out.
Do you have a program suggestion that I can work on my computer and not uploading anything to the internet? I want to add subtitles to a Bluray video that is more than 7.0GB a file. Uploading videos is too time-consuming and not that practical to me.
Great tutorial. Is there a windows installer for Veed? For use on videos which you do not want to upload online and just process it on your PC. Hoping for your kind response. Thank you. New subscriber. God bless.
Hi there, Ryan. You can try VEED and edit videos for free, however, some features are included in a paid subscription as it costs us money to maintain and improve our tool :)
