I’ve often used cheese cloth in my paintings for texture, but the layer of sand and wood-chips creates a completely different look. Beautiful depth and interest. Now I am dying for the pigments you used here, too. So vibrant!

Sergio we don't have capital binder in the United States is there anything else you could suggest that I could use? I've looked on Amazon I've looked on the internet and America just doesn't have it. Thank you and thank you again for bringing me joy.
You are indeed a very exciting artist! I am inspired but somewhat worried too. I think pigments are great except not great when they're in your lungs. Theyre tiny fragments of pigment that do find their way into your lungz but will bever find their way out. A mask can prevent a problem. Please be careful!
@27princesse D'accord, je comprends mieux ehehe 😊. Donc, dans ce tutoriel, j'applique les pigments sur de la peinture humide, ce qui fait qu'ils vont sécher en partie. Pour le reste, j'applique un fixateur en aérosol une fois la toile bien sèche pour que les pigments restants soient bien fixés. Merci pour ta vigilance et pour toujours regarder mes vidéos ! ❤

Grazie mille per i tuoi gentili complimenti! Per rispondere alla tua domanda, in realtà i pigmenti vengono applicati sulla pittura umida, il che fa sì che si aderiscano una volta che si asciugano. Questo processo contribuisce a creare effetti interessanti e stratificati nei miei dipinti. Se hai altre domande, non esitare a chiedere! Grazie ancora e buona giornata!

Claro que sí, Natalia. Puedes barnizar la obra una vez que esté terminada y seca. En este caso, se utiliza barniz en aerosol, que tiene la doble función de fijar y pegar los pigmentos. Asegúrate de aplicarlo de manera uniforme, deja que seque y repite esta operación varias veces para obtener un resultado óptimo.

Bonjour Jeanne, les pigments son verser sur de la peinture fraîche, une fois sec, le surplus de pigments doit être éliminer, puis il faut vernir, avec un vernis en aérosol ! Et plus rien de bouge !
Merci beaucoup. J'ai commencé mais comme je n'ai pas de copeaux de bois, j'ai mis du gros sel qui donne du volume. C'est long à sécher maintenant que les températures sont normales. 😄😉

I have taken photos of bits of abandoned farm machinery that has rusted and bubbled up over years; these ochres and siennas capture the colours perfectly! Even the dash of emerald is reminiscent of a remaining patch of stubborn paint! Bravo, Sergio!

Mais je vais essayer avec mes pastels secs que je peux réduire en poudre et qui sont de très bonne qualité. A voir, c'est dommage que je puisse pas vous montrer ce résultat si cela fonctionne. Merci

Par contre je me demande comment vous faites pour vernir une toile avec autant de pigments non dilués.. Est-ce que vous devez d'abord utiliser verni spray pour "figer" les pigments? Oui alors d’abord les pigments son versé sur de la peinture acrylique avec de l’eau, la plus grande partie des pigments reste figé !
