Hey mate I just thought to chip in regarding the speed graph in AE is really hard to understand, but when you get it it makes sense... What that graph shows it's not any values, it literally shows the speed of the frames are going, in case of the time remapping the normal playback speed is 1, that's why the line is never 0, so you have to match the ramp to continue from 1 up, You'll notice that sometimes even if you're using negative values the graph still shows you the speed being above 0 because it's not reading any value amount, it's just telling you the speed. I hope that makes sense

for your future work, you should transcode your footage to HD, do all your VFX work, then replace all the footage back with the 4K. it will speed up your workflow FYI

@@WillGayPhoto Subtle speed rams are separate levels of re videos (in my opinion/ liking of course it’s subjective). When you analyze what the top editors are doing that ultra smooth speed ramp with that little blur is next level. Thanks again!
how do i use time remapping and warp stabilizer on the same clip, i applied warp stabilizer on the video layer and precomposed it then enabled time remapping and it still didnt work
When I enable time remapping the dots don't appear at the beginning or the ending of the clip. I tried to look in a few forums before asking here just asking the community in general. Will if you or anyone knows a quick fix o how to avoid this, please lmk.
I dont know exactly what is going on but a few things to try, with the timeline selected you can press "U" and that will show or hide the keyframes. Another thing is to make sure the footage you are editing is in a standard frame rate. If it was shot on a mobile device they can use variable frame rates and AE and PP don't play nicely with variable frame rates. Also make sure your timeline is zoomed out all the way, you can do this by usin the "-" (minus) key on your keyboard. Sometimes if you are zoomed into the timeline they will be outside of the view of the CTI you are in.
Was taught a solution in case it happens: You can take your footage drop it into the composition icon and it'll create a new composition>enable time remapping this time it had the start/ end keyframes. I hope it helps anyone else now I could follow the rest of the tutorial and it worked.
