Have you ever wanted to make your own Kodi build but didn't know how to do that? In this 4 part tutorial I will show you how to install the Aeon Nox Silvo Skin, how to use your own backgrounds, install add-ons and customize the menu and sub-menu bar with the add-ons you installed, & how to use widgets for your movie or TV menu sections.
It is a little time consuming to do all this but at the end you will have the best build that works for YOU with only the best add-ons YOU want!

Confluence has a button for home screen. Is there a fast way to get to the home screen in Aeon Nox or just esc several times?

Aeon Nox does not have that option, just the escape/back button.

Thank you for your support to my channel. I do appreciate it! I'm not sure if I fully understand your question. Are you looking to get a skin from a build that you saw and want to use it? If yes, then you will need to get that build in order to use it. To be able to use the backgrounds, menu items, etc. you need to have the full build file for all that to work or for the images to show. Please let me know if I misunderstood your question.

@@DJsTutorials hi DJ, so sorry for the delay, RU-vid unsubscribed me from you're channel without my permission. If I could reply with more info. Basically the bello 6 skin is what I like. However there was a modded version called bello 6 ntv (notorious TV) which they used to let you download the modded skin from there repo for personal use. Which I did at the time on my personal build, but now lost it as kodi box broke. Here's the thing the bello 6 ntv mod is no longer available from the repo mod, this is because a builder stole the mod and used it in his builds he was called Duffman builds. The question I had was how could I get this skin mod. Duffman includes the bello 6 ntv mod in his older builds. But I don't want his build just the skin mod so I can rebuild my own setup. Would there be a way to extract the skin mod from duffman build? Sorry for the complex explanations. Hope to hear from you. Regards

@@ceet12 The Bello 6 Skin is available to download but I am not sure if this is the one you are looking for. If you are using Leia 18.5 it is available in the kodi skins. For 17.6 do a search online for Bello 6 ntv mod skin and you will find a result with how to download the Bello 6 mod version (pulse bar). I will look into it a little more and see if they are the same with the one from Duffman Builds that you said. Is it 17.6 or 18.5 version you are looking for?

Ok, everything was going just great, compared to other guides, but, up to aeonnox repository > look & feel, the option look & feel does not appear, add-on repository & program add-ons, I am in need of assistance. If I go to Kodi addon repository, open, aeonnox repository is listed, install, is V8.0.0 and 1.0.5, here, with Kodi 8.0.0, 'look & feel appears, not with the 1.0.5 installation.

Which version of Kodi are you using, 18.x or 19.x?

@@DJsTutorials Kodi V19.1 matrix, also, the Library Data Provider reports an 'error, please check Log' everytime if maybe that has something to do with it.

@@munchkin106 To install the Aeon Nox: Silvo skin in Kodi 18 & 19, you don't need to go to "Install from Repository". Go to Settings > Interface > Skin > click on Skin > Get More > Aeon Nox will be the first one. Install from there.

Did your Kodi update to 18 Leia? This version is for 17.6 you will need the new version for 18 Leia version 6.1.8

If you are talking about the skin that kodi had before I switched to the aeon knox, then that would be the Estuary skin which is the default kodi skin. You will see it in the available skins.

Hello DJ Thank you for your tutorial. I am still learning about Aeon Nox Silvo. I noticed in the shutdown menu there is no selection to minimize. Other skins have this item in the shut down menu. Any way to add minimize to the shutdown menu ? Also I am using Aeon Nox Silvo 6.1.7 with Kodi 18 Leia and a lot of the menu items for skin settings are missing. Should I be using a different version or copy of Aeon Nox Silvo ? Thank you for any help you can provide. :)

Hi Lyle B, If you are using Kodi 18 Leia you will need to use a different version. For 18 it's version 6.1.8 Now are you using kodi on a PC or an Android Device? There is an option to add the Minimize to the Shutdown menu but I believe it will only work on a PC and not an Android device. This is for 17.6 that I checked and not for 18. I haven't tested it on 18 yet so I can not tell you for sure yet. I will be testing soon and let you know if that option is available and how to add it to the Shutdown Menu.

@@DJsTutorials Thank you for your reply. Aeon Nox Silvo 6.1.7 is what was the latest version on their website about 1 week ago. As far as the minimize issue, I found a work around and that is to switch to windowed mode using the shortcut key " \ ", then minimize from there. But, if you do find that tweak for minimize I would like to learn about doing that. Thanx DJ. :) Liked & Subbed.

For the most part yes but make sure you use the link in the description for Aeon Nox Silvo for Kodi 18 and not the one in the video.

It still does. If you go to Settings > Interface > Skin > click on Skin > Get More > in there you will see Aeon Nox: Silvo. No need to download it any more. It's now available in Kodi 19.

You can try to use X-plore file manager instead of ES File Explorer. You can also get an OTG cable and connect a USB drive and load the pictures on there. Just a few thoughts.
