easy-to-follow bandana tutorial WITHOUT a magic ring! With this tutorial, you can make a flower bandana + free pattern
Materials:
Cotton yarn or any synthetic yarn, sport weight
3.5 mm hook
Abbreviations:
sl st- slip stitch
ch- chain
sk st- skip stitch
tc- trebel crochet
dc- double crochet
sl kn-slip knot
mm-milimeter
sp-space
st-stitch
Flower Pattern:
Round 1- sl kn, ch 6, sl st into first ch to make a loop
Round 2- ch 4 (this counts as your first dc & ch 2) dc into loop, ch 2, repeat (dc, ch 2) until you have a total of 8. End on a ch 2, sl st into 2nd ch
Round 3- sl st into the ch sp & ch 4 (this counts as the first tc) 2 tc in same ch sp, ch 2 or 6 refer to video and graph in video 3 tc in next ch sp and repeat. end with a sl st into top of ch 4.
Joining Flowers:
join the ch 6's by ch 3, sl st into ch 6 sp, ch 3 and continue the pattern
join the ch 2's by ch 1, sl st into ch 2 sp, ch 1 and continue the pattern
Straps:
ch 80 and sl st into 3rd ch 2 sp (counting from the joining ch 6 sp) sl st into every st until you reach the tc before the ch 6. (putting 1 sl st in each of the ch 2 sp) ch 6, sl st across to the next flower in the tc next to the ch 6. and repeat until you reach the 3rd ch 2 sp in the last flower. ch 80 & fasten off
