Unless your reason is financial, there is no reason in the world that you cannot obtain the yarns used and demonstrated in most videos. In cases where the channel does not list the yarn vendor, it's easy enough to do a simple Google search. I've been able to get unique yarns in-store as well as online. Just like crochet/knit styles and designs have evolved, so have the types and variety of yarns, needles, hooks, etc. I am grateful for these free videos/demos/tutorials. ETA: I see 00zhane shares your sentiment. Expose yourselves to variety and stop complaining.
@Diedra S Then find a forum for whiners and complainers. We come here to relax and enjoy the craft not to debate the finances and self-righteousness of others. If the video doesn't accommodate what you have on hand, find one that does. It's not that hard. But you'd rather bellyache and call folks out. SMH
@@linedanzer4302 There are plenty of reasons why someone wont be able to get the yarn specified for a pattern (beyond just financial). Your comments are coming off as mean, the crochet community doesn't need those negative vibes! The only reason you are being called out is because you felt the need to share your negative opinion on a comment thread from people expressing how it can be hard to enjoy this craft when they cant find the supplies they need.

Thanks to your tutorials. i made the shorts and now am doing the skirt. I fine the tutorials very easy to work with and the details you give is very clear. Thank you
I did this and it came out great thanks for the tutorial. I was kinna stuck for a while doing the drawstrings not many detailed videos on how to add the tassels to the drawstrings.

Hi Dee, finished this skirt and it turned out beautiful!! Great explanation!! now only have to do the tassels, I know you said it should be 17 inches long, I read some of the comments to get more info...I know people keep asking without reading how many skeins of yarn...I used in total 4 skeins 50 grams, it all depends on how much and the thickness of the yarn. Thank you so much for this, I will be making more of your stuff...love from Canada!

When joining and skipping the middle part when we get to the bottom where there are 3 dc chain 2 three dc do we continue to 3 dc chain 2 3 dc or so we simply do the 1 double crochet and carry on until we go back around and skip that middle part. Hi, I really like you crochet designs. I appreciate how you take the time to explain how stitches are done , you stop when necessary to explain what's going to be happening in rows ahead. The only suggestion I make /ask is if you could turn the volume to high on your computer or talk louder. I don't know if anyone else has same problem but volume on my computer/ phone are both on high but your voice is so soft it's hard to hear you. P.s. 📱 and 🖥 not old.
