I can't get my toes to look like yours? I'm doing something wrong... I counted 8 stitches but it definitely wasn't 6 rows... it was only 8 stitches for the 4th row, so I'm confused.
Hey! For rows 1 you work 6sc in a magic ring, for row 2, you make two increases having 8 stitches. So, good you counted 8 stitches! Until there you are fine! And then, from rows 3 to 6, you will make 8 sc in each row. For example, row 3: 8sc, for row 4: 8sc, for row 5: 8sc... and so on. You should always have 8single crochet at the end of the rows. The total amount of rows in a toe is 6 rows (2 rows for the beginning of the toe, where you reach 8sts in total, and 4 rows with 8sts each). Is it clear for you?
Hello there! That is because I was using an embroidering needle. An embroidering needle has a sharp pointed end, which in the case of sewing amigurumi, is not a good choice. That is because you can easily insert the needle in the middle of your yarn, but, you should insert the needle in the middle of the stitch, without breaking the yarn. It is not a big change, but when you use a tapestry needle, the sewing pieces together look neater. Since I didn't have one in my hands when I was shooting this pattern, I use the head of the needle, which isn't sharp, and won't break my yarn, giving the same results as the tapestry needle!
