Omg I never thought about using two yarns together like this. I've seen people do it for thickness, but not for decoration! I love that, will definitely try this, thank you :D
I just made this pattern yesterday, and I'm so in love! I've been trying to find a way to incorporate my stingers' colors into the body of the jellyfish! Thank you so much for generously sharing this technique ❤
I Love this tutorial and the way you explain everything step by step. Could you please tell me where you ordered your Yarn Bee whisper yarn I tried looking it up and unable to find it. I would like to try making this cute jellyfish. Thank you.
Heyy I wanted to ask something. I want to make the big chubby dinosaur but my yarn isn't thick enough so it will come smaller. If in the start I do 12 sc in the mr instead of 6 will it make it bigger???
Doing 12 sc in the mr instead of 6 for the first round and then continuing like normal will just make it to where the head isn’t pointy and is more flat. If you want to make it bigger you can try doubling up on the yarn you’re using and using a bigger hook ☺️
Double or triple your yarn like she does with the head here using two or three strands of yarn will make it thicker alot thicker just make sure u use the right gauge hook.
For anyone wondering, one skein of each (I didn’t use the brands in video either) was more than enough for one jelly fish. I am in the process of making three! I’ll run out of white bulky soon after that but the colorful skein might last forever. 😆
You do! There’s instructions after you sew 75% of the belly to the head, leave a small gap and stuff the head, then continue on finishing sewing the belly to the head
