I’m currently making this. However i was wondering if you could show how to maybe have it go all the way around the back. Like instead of having ties. Maybe having a full band around the torso with a cross cross or even a tie back. Thanks -Kaylea :)

I did chain 13, and 12 rows before doing the scallops. This doesn't allow me to chain 7 in the middle stitch but rather on either side. It doesn't look great so what would you recommend?

This is an excellent design and very similar to what I already started but I wasn't sure how i would do the band. The tutorial was fast in movement and explanation but I'm hoping it's easy to follow when i slow down the speed

I absolutely love this top. I am going to try to make these for my brother's girlfriend for her trip to Cancun. Can you tell me what size you have that you used on your top? Also what is the best crochet yarn to use to make this? I know that for summer, it is probably better to use cotton, correct? Would Lion Brand 24/7 be fine for this or is there a softer yarn to use?
Thank you very very much! & it all depends on her size! 😊 Our patterns/tutorials give chain and row counts for a size small as a reference and helpful tips on where to measure for other sizes/fits to ensure you get your perfect fit, so it's a "measure along" technique. 😊 All of those tips are within the tutorial! We have another halter video that has extended sides for a more conservative look. Hello there, I also wanted to make this with a back so I came up with an idea based on some other bralettes/crop tops I've seen. You can chain about 30-40 stitches (or however many you need for the length from the edge of the cup to the middle of your back), then slip stitch along the cups as shown, then chain another 30-40 stitches (same as before). Then continue the pattern as shown, maybe with some modifications to make it work. You can connect the two back panels, or lace them together with a strap, etc. Hope that helps!

Make the same Chain for the cups and continue with the cup rows till it becomes your desired size, make 2 then the bottom band is explained by measurement not by stitch count so you're good to go!
😅 This is an older video so my apologies for the lack of some instructions. This is a halter top so it's just a chain the reaches behind your neck + about 5 inches so you can tie it. All I did was Inserted my hook into the top of each cup, made the Chain & cut. 😊
