Learn how to crochet this sunflower in this tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. In this video I show how to crochet sunflowers, which you can use as an applique, in a vase, as well as in a wedding bouquet. These work up fast and easy. I'm using a G 4 mm crochet hook and worsted weight yarn.

A little tip, if the petals are sticking forward too much just blow dry them on max head and then place something heavy on them overnight to flatten them.

Thank you! If I'm understanding the question, I think that part is shown in the video at 3:54. Basically there are so many petals, that I'm sort of pushing one forward, one back, etc.

I loved this and i finishing the flower part but is there an alternative to the stem because i dont have a hot glue gun or the stem you used but i do have a wire

With wire, I usually bend it in half and then push the wire through the crochet part of the flower to hold it. Then wrap the wire with floral tape or green yarn (or brown yarn).

Chain more stitches and fill up the extra chains by repeating the stitches in the middle.
