@@cleetus_ if youre using caron simply soft you can look up the requirements you can usually wash it in the washer but you have to lay it flat to dry. Since its 100% acrylic it will mess up the fiber and either shrink or get bigger if you put it in the dryer
Finally done with my sweater. It turned out pretty amazing for my first time crocheting. Had some trouble during stitching parts but thanks for your lovely tutorial. Now i am gonna parcel it to my sister. Hope she loves this surprise from her younger brother 😅
Hello, I am a ten year old and this was very fun to make and I love this pattern I am using it to make me and my BFF matching sweatshirts, I had to make a few changes for this to fit me but In the result it turned out amazing! Keep doing what you do have a fantastic day!
You've made such a fantastic video, so easy to follow and with your voice it's almost relaxing. I'm a mediumish beginner, having been a straight knitter forever. I tried a plain rectangular panel sweater with boat neck and the way you do the sleeve attachment chain and neck seems easier and I LOVE the way you did the ribbing at the bottom instead of having to make the separate piece and then crochet the whole thing horizontally. it's hard to make a smooth join. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
I have never done a sweater, but this will be my first attempt, it's just so cute and well explained. Maybe it would take me a lot of time to finish it but I would let you know how it goes :)
⚠️WARNING⚠️ Make sure to count your stiches ever now and then!!! I had to restart bc i messed up😂 Other than my mistakes so far, the sweater looks really nice!
Yup as I look at my front panel and realized one side on the shoulder peice decreases sooner than the other so it’s a stitch off but I’m going to try to “mess” it up the Same one in the other side it matches at least😅
So cute!!! I made one in grey and as a beginner to clothes making using crochet it is really easy to use and follow!! Doing amigurumi all the time means that it's a little weird transferring from little creatures to clothes but it was easy and I love this tutorial!! I'm definitely going to use it again!! Thanks :)
Ah, crocheting is so relaxing and so satisfying…until you realise you miscounted. That’s when I throw my work in the next corner for a few days. But the tutorial is amazing, greetings from Germany!
I made this sweater when I first started crocheting and let me tell you, it’s amazing! It’s my favorite sweater I’ve ever made, I used big twist value yarn in the color “plum”. I’m definitely will be repeating this pattern if I ever want to make another sweater, thank you so much! You are a great teacher💕
2 minutes in and I already love your tutorial, you're so clear and make it easy to understand, I cant wait to get started on my sweater😊 thank you for the amazing tutorial
Hi! I'm a new crocheter. I been crocheting for almost a year and tried this. I made it in three day and it turned out great! Thank you so much for this lovely pattern. Edit I redid the sleeves so ending up taking longer.
Almost done with my sweater!! Loving it so far! I just finished a sleeve and now I’m working on the other one and then the collar! I did have to do an extra decrease on the decrease row for the end of the sleeves, so pull through four instead of three, but I love this so much thank you!!
This turned out Amazing for my first clothing that i crocheted, usually i just make animals and a bunch of other things. thank you so much for this pattern, it fits so well and it's very warm!
Just completed mine! Your tutorial was very simple to follow. This was my first crocet clothing item. I did change it a bit so my sleeves were not as puffy. But it still turned out amazing. Thank you!
finally i finished my first sweater after making it for MONTHS, thank you so much for the tutorial also, your voice is SO CUTEEE especially when you say "okayyy guyyys" 😭💗
@@8hackneys "Su voz es tan relajante, no entiendo nada, pero es tan relajante" is "His voice is so relaxing, I don't understand anything, but it's so relaxing" in English so do your research its Spanish put it in google translate if you don't believe me!
I am 12 and I am finally done with my sweater it took me 2 weeks and I had to do some adjustments like: 1- crocheting decrease rows before attaching the collar. 2- crocheting the collar the same way as the arms instead of making it separately and sewing it in. 3- making the wrist cuffs separately and sewing them in. Hope it makes it easier 😍
I absolutely adore your tutorial! And thank you for putting the number of stitches expected for each row, usually stitch counting gives me issues! I think i made the collar a little bit too loose and I didn't expect the sleeves to be so ... PUFFY (but hey it doesn't hurt anyone). I'll definitely be using pattern again to make some gifts for my friends! Thank you so much!
Thank you for the fab tutorial! if you were to do a full sized jumper (instead of cropped) how many rows would you recommend? would 48 work or would you recommend 58? thanks! x
Hi! I am currently doing a full sized sweater, and I did 62 rows. I just used another sweater of mine as a reference and also keep in mind the fact that the shoulder straps do take up a tiny but if space, but just FYI.
amazing tutorial!! this is my first crochet project ever, it took me just under two weeks and i'm sooooo happy with the results!! the only tweak was 45 chains for the sleeves instead of 61 because 61 turned out waaaaay too long (the sleeves literally reached past the tips of my fingers and i'm 5'7).
@@cookiescream3396 yep, that's what i had, but the puff was soooo huge and i didn't like it like that so i redid it. the puff was still there just a bit smaller. that's the cool thing abt diy, u can tweak it to your preferences, that's just how i prefer mine :)
You sound so very young to be so good at this. I have tried so many sweaters and I can't follow along at all, I then end up making up the rest of it and no it does not look good nor do they ever fit. I'm going to give this one a try thank you
Iam gonna try this tomorrow but I do not like crop tops so I Will make more rows 🙈 in pastel Purple it's gonna be so cute thanks for the video, when iam done i cant try and tag u on insta but i use tiktok most 🌸
So my daughter wants to make this, in the same size that you did. It will be her first clothing item that she makes. How many skeins of yarn did you use?
Is there a reason that when working on the decreases every other row when working the the shoulder section one shoulder was worked up 8 rows and one shoulder was worked up 9 rows? Not trying to criticize, this is an absolutely beautiful pattern, just curious.
omg your explanation is so good! I will be sure to make one during my holidays! how old are you? I absolutely LOVE this and well done on the excellent explanation! xoxo
Tqsm for the tutorial. I think u have to do it a bit slow in other videos & showed step by step really clear. Especially how to join the sleeve part, coz i'm not a pro like u...tqsm
For reference: it took me roughly 3-4 hours on the first panel before the shoulders at a relatively fast pace, be sure to be patient with your work folks!!!
Just realized I made my sleeve entirely too large. didnt think about it until I was almost done with it. there goes about 10 hrs of work! I will be redoing it tho, not gonna waste yarn by starting over
My guess is that you would still create the foundation chain under the arm and count the number of chains that is (making sure it's an even number). Then, as a separate piece, you will chain 61 for the sleeve foundation chain, do the pattern you want for the sleeve - half double crochet or whatever you like - and continue until you get the same number of rows that there are chains under the arm, then connect the sleeve and under arm with slip stitches or single crochets. Then move onto the cuff, like she does here. I haven't done this, but that's probably how I would do it if I wanted to make the sleeve separately first before connecting it to the body.
Hello I'm from Mexico city, I'm doing a sweater just like that buuut... I have problems with the sleeve too.... I'm doing not separate, just like her... But I did something wrong.
I love this pattern and video, would you please post an updated Etsy link, I cannot seem to find the pattern. Thank you for putting this video together!
me: I need it... I WANT TO MAKE IT. The climate of my country, which is all year-round summer/dry: hehe, no. 🤭 The patchwork cardigan that i JUST started: YOU HAVEN'T EVEN FINISHED THE THIRD SQUARE YET.
Hey! You should make a big square/rectangle for the back and 2 different rectangles/squares for the front and 2 sleeves and stitch them together! If u didnt understand it then dm me in insta Id: @_life_through_lense . . PS: also please do follow my account!! It would mean so much! Thank you♡
hi! so, I’m a young crocheter and I love your videos. i love the idea of this puffy sleeved sweater, the colors and everything. i want to start selling my work and I was wondering, with your permission if I could make and sell this amazing sweater like yours using this tutorial as long as I give credit to the video??
I'm perfectly fine if you sell your sweaters as long as the PFD patterns aren't being sold! It's also fine if you don't give credit! Hope this helps. 💞
this pattern is super cute and I love it, but I used a yarn that was too chunky and it turned out way too big, lol. would you suggest using the XS patter to get the right size (S) if we are using a size 5 bulky yarn?
Great pattern. But I was wondering, is there a difference between this and the cotton candy puff sleeve pattern regarding the finished sweater? other than the length
