How to crochet a very easy headband. Absolute beginner. No darning needle. 

be self-sustainable with your clothing too :) this is a super easy and great pattern for beginners. only one stitch - single crochet is needed after the base chain. anyone can do this with a little persistence! a few notes - i don't even use a measuring tape, just keep crocheting till you get the tightness you want around your head. just remember it will stretch so make it quite tight. use yarn with slight stretch like acrylic wool. i recommend you watch my beginner video too here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3wd0uw6cyeE.html enjoy!

Thanks for teaching me that one is not fat, one simply has fat and that fat can go away (shrink). Thanks for reminding me to not focus on image but rather on overall health. Going in with the wrong goals won't lead to sustainable routine/ lifestyle and the wrong goals are why people are the same year after year. Now I measure progress by my blood pressure, and how many micronutrients I am getting. I measure progress by 15 pounds feeling lighter as my training progresses. I measure progress by recognizing that I am able to run a longer distances or from point A to point B each week in a shorter time, or without stopping or being completely winded. I measure progress by clothes feeling looser, and I measure progress by my relationships being better because I feel more secure in myself and don't compare. Seriously, I owe you one for drilling in the message that I should not focus on appearance but rather instead focus on health. Thanks for teaching me to not compare myself to others when what they portray might not be an accurate portrayal of a possibly dark reality. You were one of my influences for committing to a vegan LIFESTYLE 5 years ago. Very grateful.
