Well I didn’t exactly get an octopus but I managed to get an adorable cute little blue blob that I am going to name raindrop or rainy! The bottom wasn’t exactly flat and two triangles that kind of look like legs came at the bottom of it. As much as I would have wanted raindrop/rainy to turn into an octopus I’m happy that I have my own cute blob!I highly recommend doing this tutorial because as a beginner I get really emotional when I can’t do these things and this tutorial was really flexible and shows you how to do things multiple times! No sad tears had to be shot for this only sweat and neck pain. Highly recommended!
I am a beginner, but I’ve learned that to have a successful project u need a good teacher, n u r an excellent teacher, thank you, I have done several of your projects n they came out great
Thank you so much kindly. With your tutorial, I was able to crochet my first amigurumi. The way you explain every step made it easy to follow. You also radiate this warm and friendly energy. I am grateful ❤️
I started doing Amigurumi a few months ago and I have found lots of patterns and tutorials, but I find myself going back to your tutorials over and over. Thank you for all your tutorials they are always easy to follow and I love your accent😁
Oh my goodness, mine turned out SO CUTE!! 😂 I made a string from the same yarn coming out of his head so I can hang it from my car interior mirror. Ill add essential oil to the stuffing too, to make my car 'octo' an air freshener!! Briliaint tutorial, thank you!! ❤
You are truly a scholar. I find it so hard as a senior to follow most other tutorials, but yours is amazing, very well depicted and easy to follow. I will be following you on future videos, your my number one go too. Thanks so very much, keep up the good work!
Is incredible! I have seen many tutorials, until I finally found this one, I put it to the test and finally I was able to do it, clearly it is not perfect, but it worked for me and with time I know that I will improve. Thank you very much for the tutorial, you explain great.
I’ve seen a bunch of octopus videos and this one explains it the best. I realized that I was doing 3 sc in one stitch in stead of what you were doing thanks!
I’m pretty noobish and I’ve never heard anyone say not to close the magic ring completely until the second round because the stitches get so tight. I had to figure it out myself the hard way lol. So thank you for saving other noobs some frustrating issues! I tend to stitch too tight anyways so I feel like I spend half my time fighting to get my hook in where it needs to be grrrr lol
I love your tutorials and this one was very perfect. Unlike other youtubers you teach very well. Now I have been crocheting for a year and because I watched your videos I have learnt crocheting very well 💜✨
Thank you so much for this lesson, it’s my second day crocheting and made this but larger and it was so fun and cute! Your instructions were great, I’m as beginner as it gets and it was very clear! Thank you!! ❤
Loved it. I only wanted to make one. The first one was too big, my carer loved it n took it, second one was the right size but the tentacles looked bad. So she took the second one for her grandson, The 3rd one my hubby said to use a darker color for the tentacles & it looked awesome. I never got to hang it to the blanket, my cat, steals all the little things I make. So after finding it on the floor well played with, I didn't want to put it on the baby blanket so I just make another one, only took half an hour. But I am attaching it straight away so she doesn't steal this one. It does look AMAZING. Thanks. The tentacles have come out perfect and they're so so simple as well. THANK YOU.
You're so welcome, Allison. Im so happy to know that you enjoyed the pattern and are making it. Never tried it with a different color for the tentacles. But since you mentioned, i think it will look great. Thank you for the tip, have to try that 🙂
I just started crocheting and I followed along with your video to make my very first project and it turned out amazing! Your video was super easy to follow!! Thank you for this :)
Wonderful tutorial! Loved the way you taught us how to stich the eyes and mouth and especially how you hid the thread! I'm advanced with flat projects but new to amigurumi.
Thank you so very much miss Vinita! Your tutorials and videos are done so perfectly, I have been able to make this lil guy after only 2 days of having yarn and a hook in my hand! Yesterday I made your simple pink flower first of course, and then today I made this dude! He is in purple, and will be cherished as my first plush.
This was SOOO EASY to do and mind you I’m kind of a beginner as I’ve been doing crochet for almost a month now!! And it’s really easy to understand and the finished product is so cute thank you :> 🐙
Thank you my first one was for my dad he loves it I just made one for myself and I put a bow on its head it’s so adorable I tried another video and this one turned out way better now all I’m doing is making the mouth 🥰
You're very welcome🙂, glad you liked it. I am sure the bow would look super cute on it. It's very addictive and you can go on improvising with each one🙂.
This was a wonderful tutorial! Thank you for sharing. I am going to make octopi for the children in my library to “adopt” as a reading buddy for our ocean themed summer reading program this year.
I just found your tutorial. It was really easy to follow. I've been crocheting for a while, but looking for cute small items to crochet for gifts/sale. This is perfect!!!
Thank you so much. I finished my first project. It doesn’t look very cute but it’s there and things to the way you teach it was so easy I can’t wait to do more with you. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach people how to crochet like like you.
Thank you for being such a great teacher! This was so easy to follow and for a novice like myself a huge huge thank you! Im planning on having an octoarmy very soon!
This was an amazing tutorial and so simple to follow! I love the way you explained how to hide the yarn so well and talked us through each step! You seem very very kind
You're welcome, to be honest if you can make granny square then you can pretty much try/ make anything🙂. There is a playlist I have included for beginners projects in the description box, if you have time go through it. May be something might interest you.
This was by far the easiest tutorial I have come across (and I've been through heaps), thank you for explaining everything so clearly! You helped me make my very first octopus :)
Thankyou so much maam!!! Im a absolute beginner and i made this amigurumi octopus!!! It turned out so cute and i love this!!!!your instructions are so clear and easy to do thanks for your efforts
I did this one because I really liked the pattern. I used the Fruit salad yarn by I Love this Yarn. And a 3.75mm hook because im a have a really tight stitch which I'm told is great for amigurumi. Mine turned out about the same size. She is super cute. Gonna put her on a keychan and take her places. I shall name her squirt. 😊 Thank you for the instructions it easy to flow.
I recently started crocheting 🧶 and so wanted to make an octupus so bought a ready make package 📦 My first try failed and on my search to another pattern, i’ve found your tutorial! Super clear, thank you so much ! My 1st octopus is not perfect, but love it 🧡🐙😄
Excellent tutorial! Your explanation and your demonstration was so clear and easy to understand. I love that you repeat the demonstrations of each stitch. Great design as well. I will be making this one.
Brilliant. Very clear, nice instructions. Good pace, nice teaching voice. Will be looking for more videos from you. My little octopus came out perfect, made as i watched and listened!
Thankyou so much for this tutorial its brilliant ,it was really easy to follow and at a steady pace that you could keep up .I will be watching for more .❤
I just subscribed from your channel as all of your tutorials are slow and really easy for us beginners! I'm so gladd you have this even if it was a year ago or so. Hope I could eventually keep up with the amazing works you recently posted!
You're welcome, there are a few more in the Playlist and more to come 😀 Crochet Amigurumi Patterns: ru-vid.com/group/PLgLZIwwa8hcGTRk_Qjt0fFM-3vRIS1HR9

i forgot to put my stitch marker in a round and idk if it'll be a problem but I'll keep going!! ALSO YOUR INSTRUCTIONS ARE ALWAYS EASY TO FOLLOW AND LEARN BECOZ I JUST STARTED A FEW DAYS AGO,THIS IS SUPER FUN
I am a very beginner crocheted and this was my first amigurumi attempt, and I have ended up with a recognisable octopus! Is he perfect? Heck no. I lost the plot towards the end and only had space for 7 tentacles, but I don't care - he's an individual 😂 and I had so much fun doing this! Thank you for your lovely videos.
I obtained the ugliest mf ever, he's just foul and I love him so much. I showed him to my gf and she laughed so hard we both ended up in tears. I know I'll get better and my future amigurumis will look beautiful, but for now I'm so proud of my ugly boy and I'm glad I found this channel, it's the clearest if you need to learn how to crochet. Thank you so much ❤❤❤
