I have been following you for some time, this wonderful project fascinated me for the first time ... I really wanted to be able to make such a car with a Christmas tree for my collection of Christmas ornaments. I admit that the car gave me big headaches in the sense that the platform above twisted dramatically starting with the set of 3 multiplications at the corners. I made about 3 attempts with different threads but my red car didn't turn out as beautiful as yours. I don't think I'm wrong with the tutorial itself, I follow your instructions step by step ... maybe it's a problem related to the type of thread used, the texture? in the end I used a 100% red wool thread. I am so sorry you got problem. The car must be crochet tight. Be sure to check that the shape looks right after you finish the windows and the front and back of the car. Sometimes you can shift the increase point to make it look more straight. I hope it will help❤
@@kimcraft I already finished it, it came out sophisticated because I added details to which I insisted a lot with the work. By the end it came out properly in its rectangular shape. I still have to work on the Christmas tree. As I told you, the twisting of the ceiling begins where the simultaneous growth with 3 stitches at a time begins. I am not such a specialist as to change the beginning of the growth point. I usually crochet very tightly, maybe too tight sometimes. I thought of making the top platform simple from simple legs in the shape of a rectangle worked on a 6-stitch chain. This way I can avoid twisting the work ... I will try for the second car ornament.
