Fabulous stitch! My great grandmother had this pattern in a table pad we found. Never could figure it out. Now it's the first I'll do this fall/winter. 🙏🏼❤
A beautiful version of the bullion/bean/bread stitch. I love the way you anchor it down so that when you pull through all those loops they don't bunch up
It is the “Bullion” stitch variant, depending on the number of stitches being wrapped. 1 stitch - single 2 stitches - double 3 stitches - treble It is usually not recommended to go more than 3 stitches though. Because, the thread or yarn can eventually work loose. And, if making a blanket or throw, it is better to use a synthetic yarn if you want to keep the look. Because, wool & cotton will ent up felting.
@@JHookCrochet He! I’m a guy. I’m going on 57, and have been crocheting since I was 4. My great grandmother taught me to crochet lace. And, I still have and use the hook she gave me.
Just seen your tutorial and feel in love with this stitch. Thanks for taking the time to show it and explain it. You did an excellent job and I truly appreciate it
I look up the bouillon stitch…your stitch is so much nicer and elegant. Not sure yet what I’m going to make, but it will definitely be something…beautiful!!! Yes it’s a yarn eater, but think about the outcome!!!Thank as always to for continuing to share your wonderful talents with us!!!❤️❤️❤️
I'm so glad you're back 😊 This is an outstanding stitch Sirin, it has lines, texture, symmetry and can be very versatile in one's color choice/s. It can be applied to many crochet projects, too. The mechanics is somewhat similar to the bullion stitch, but you wrapped the bullion over three treble pillars. Wow! Precisely creative ❤❤❤❤❤ And you shared it, thank you. 🥰😘
@@rosatanner2624 how long? Normally I make the scarf long enough to go from one middle finger to the other when I stretch my arms. If you mean how wide, I made it 5x5+1 stitches wide.
I've seen this before called a boxed bead stitch. And it made an AMAZING baby blanket. Cushy for floor time, textured, warm, and lots of spaces for babies to put their fingers through and grab which they LOVE to do. Kinda hated that I loved it so much as a baby blanket because it took longer and more yarn to make then my usual go to baby blanket patterns. But, it is what it is lol
It Never seizes to astound me how clever some crotchet stitches are. This stitch is truly amazing. Thanks for showing us how to do this. Your tutorials are unique. You seem to come up with stitches that are really beautiful, look complicated, but you manage to break it down to simple steps, that are easy to follow. Stella

The texture of this stitch is nice, very visual. I enjoy watching your videos because of the many interesting patterns you show. And you teach them well, easy to follow along. Thank you for making these videos, it takes so much time and effort, those of us who watch appreciate the work involved.
Wow Sirin this stitch pattern is lovely. I have never seen this particular stitch. Going to try making a pillow cover with this stunning stitch. Thank you for sharing.
I am newer to your channel Siring. I just love this stitch. Agree that it looks so nice with the mercerized cotton. The sheen really shows off the stitch which is beautiful. This could make a lovely scarf. Thank you so much for sharing.
I love this stitch, looks very elegant, pretty and complicated 😍 and you make it seem so easy. I will try this as soon as I do my annual fall yarn shopping 🛍
Love that, it is so neat, never seen it done like this before. How can I get the written directions, my memory is not as good as it use to be. I am 78, almost 79, but i would love to try this. Thanks for sharing it!!!
There are no written directions!! When you turn on subtitles they go too fast before you can even get them written down!! I to am a senior and find her stuff way to confusing! I will have to buy a book I guess!!
I just subscribed to your channel - you are an absolute genius! Love your instructions and your calm voice gives me confidence to try the most complicated stitches. Thank you so much.
