Learn how to crochet this cute basket in 3 sizes in this tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. In this video I show how to make the small, medium, and large crochet baskets. These are good to store your yarn in! I'm using 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held together and a size H 5 mm crochet hook.

Oh I love it! Odd question what would happen of I used two colors together?

It would produce a lovely marled effect. (You can just Google Image search Marled Yarn to see examples). If you use contrasting colors, the effect will be bright and bold (like a hot pink and a white). Or if you use similar colors but different shades (light gray + medium gray) the effect will be more subtle.

Hi Donna. Just stumbled across this video on making crochet baskets and FELL IN LOVE with your project. These are going to be PERFECT to make for my scrapbooking gal-friends for an upcoming retreat. Wonderful! The only difference between baskets is the circle part on the bottom. Each subsequent round increases the diameter of the base, so to make a smaller basket, you can either 1) use one strand of yarn with a smaller hook. that will force the whole project to become smaller in size. 2) use the 2 strands of yarn, but only do 2 or 3 rounds of the base or 3) use one strand of yarn with a smaller hook and just do the 2 or 3 rounds of the base.
