Today I will show you how to crochet this Cozy Victorian Mini Capelet. This capelet only uses one skein of yarn (less than 200 yards) and a couple of evenings to complete. This is a beginner-friendly easy project. If you have some Homespun or other 5 weight yarn you can crochet this project. You can use a 4 weight but the piece will be smaller.
The written pattern for the mini-capelet can be found here:

This is perfect for us Up North folks! My shoulders often get cold. Especially while sitting around crocheting. Not too bulky. & like to keep my arms free. 👍👍

I will have to try this mini capelet pattern out. I actually made a capelet from a tutorial by Bag O Day Crochet out of Homespun yarn, it worked up beautifully. Thanks.💝

Your cape let came out so pretty. I will keep this pattern in mind (I have two skeins of this yarn from my last MaryMaxim box).

Yes, it is the Fools Gold. It had a lot less blue than I thought that it would.

Once I got going, I wanted to make it longer but was torn because in my mind I saw this as a one-skein item

@@TheCrochetNurse Well that’s always an option. I would probably make it a little longer.

I was surprised by the color in that cake. I was expecting more blue than what I got. But I have to tell you it is just the right amount of warmth.
