Thank you for sharing where you found your clasp. I love your bag. I'm finishing up a crossbody bag and wanted to use a clasp of some sort for this strap. Will be going to hobby lobby today so I can finish my project.

I like the smaller lobster claw clasps from Hobby Lobby's sewing section. They come in a variety of metals & are not as bulky as those bigger clasps but I would use those on a larger crossbody purse for sure. Great video.

Thank you, Jeanne, this was great. What size phone does this fit? Thank you! Also, I like to leave a long tail at the beginning & use it to close up the bottom ( no turning inside out necessary.) The seam will then be on the side of the bag instead of down the back, less noticeable that way. My edging is: after you sl st to finish row 15, then sl sl in next st ( again) then *skip next st, 5 dc in next st, skip 2 st, sc in next st, repeat from * all the way around, ending with a sl st instead of an sc. You should have 6 scallops total, 3 in front & 3 in back.

Hi I was trying to find the same yarn I'm in Australia and couldn't find it. Can I please ask is the yarn cotton or polyester as it looks so much nicer than wool.

I’m pretty new at this, so when you say back bar. Is that the same as back post?.

Hi Lynn, it's not the backpost. If you're looking at the top of your hdc stitch, you see 2 loops, right? There is a bar on the back side of it. If you make your hdc's through that back bar, you're pushing the 2 loops forward, thus creating the knit-like look to your project. I hope I explained that correctly.
