Something I used in place of the hot glue stick was a popsicle stick, and I found it works well. :) Thank you so much for this tutorial! I've found it very easy to follow so far. I'm about to go to part 2!

Omg sticking a hot glue is such a better idea than a wire. I don't put wire in my doll because a lot of moms order it for their toddler and i don't want to risk injuring them if by any chance the wire would be sticking out. Thank you so much

You can use catona yarn from Scheepjes brand or catania yarn from Schachenmayr brand

Use hotglue to stiffen the neck, which will keep the head upright. If you don't use hot glue, you can use a plastic straw. But it is necessary to have a hard object in the neck to connect the head and body, so the doll's head can stand upright.
