I’d honestly say this isn’t beginner lvl bc you don’t go into specific of how to do the stitch ( and instructions aren’t written on screen) but it is very easy to follow if yk what your doing. Love the tutorial ☺️
@@popemse2839that’s why you need to watch “how to crochet” tutorials. you need to learn how to do a double crochet for this. this is a bag tutorial not a “how to crochet” tutorial
I agree with you I attempted it and it was not easy because she went really fast but a good tip is to go into like the thing in slow down the speed if it’s going too fast
@@malloryidk236bro wtf is your problem????? they were just expressing an opinion to help their experience… why you’re attacking them idk you look dumb rn
yall cracking on her for "going too fast" but if yall wanna see how to specifically do a certain thing then go find a video for that?? this is obviously not for people who are still figuring out how crochet works
@@EddieSoTrill beginner friendly as in you know the basic terms and stiches and can do a basic project. if you dont know the basic terms and stitches then go learn that first. its a beginner bag tutorial. not a tutorial for crochet in general.
@@ilovem1na beginner: a person just starting to learn a skill or take part in an activity. stop trying to change the meaning of what beginner is lmao if anything this is intermediate
@@EddieSoTrill nobodys trying to change the meaning of anything... yall must be new to crochet tutorials because this is how its always been. learn the basics first. again, its a tutorial on a beginner bag, not on basic terms.
@@ilovem1na you clearly lack critical thinking skills but I can’t even blame you because the education system failed you. “this is how it’s always been” mind you there’s 1,000+ videos that are ACTUALLY beginner friendly with step by step instructions. live in your delusional by yourself stop mentioning me
Made this on a road trip. Absolutely love it. Great pattern. Also love that this pattern can take a few mistakes well. Some patterns hard cause they have to be pristine, but enjoy that I made. A few mistakes my first time learning this and it was super forgiving. Love the way it looks so happy
Ahh crap. I did the random 3 crochets on the side all the way up and distorted the shape. I knew something was up but kept going, thats my fault. Now im pulling it all out to redo it. I would say next time to clarify tht when we go around and around to not do the random 3 crochets on the sides.
i only learnt how to crochet a couple days ago and i just finished making this bag!!!!! it was actually so much easier than i thought it would be, thank you for the easy tutorial ❤❤
Hiii, I'm Brazilian and I have difficulties understanding English, in your next videos, in English, could you put the type of crochet you're doing on the video screen, thank youu
i dont understand how you got the bag to look like that at 3:15, mine is only one piece of fabric, how does it automatically become a bag. you didnt explain
When u place those 3 double crochets in the random places (beginning middle end) u do that on both the sides of the little rectangle u have, after u do those it should have formed a little dip and u should be able to see the forming of the bottom of the bag. If that makes sense 😭
@@Divvv535this might be late but when she gets to the part where you put the 3 double crochets in the front middle and end, instead of turning your work like you normally do, your just placing those 3, and continuing around. In a circle
@@NimraRamzan-k2b Someone said that " after she finished the bottom of the bag she did the corners then just continues to crochet all around it till she got to 10 inches" but i just did 2 panels.
This video was super helpful! To be able to follow it, you should know how to do a single chain, double crochet and slip stitch! It took me about 4 hours but I’m rather beginner-level, so it may take some people less time! I definitely recommend this video for a simple and cute tote bag! 🧶
might make this for my mum! this tutorial seems easy to follow, thank you! btw if anyone is a beginner like me and struggling with some of the basics i would recommend checking out the channel Hopeful Turns and her beginner series, then coming back to this tutorial
I chained 60 and did single crochet stitches instead of double for a more sturdy bag with less gaps and i suggest using stitch markers on the side 3 stitches it makes it easier and no counting cotton yarn also works better for bags it has way less stretching to it
What would be the width of the bag and how would I calculate the straps from the middle to start working on them? I've done chain 60 too as chaining 30 was too small for me
i’ve been trying to make this for a month now but other video’s instructions aren’t clear you made this video and helped sm it got straight to the point literally!
I finished mine and it looks beautiful, but when I put anything in it the bag literally drops down to my knees😅 I used 100% acrylic yarn, is there something else I could have done wrong?
My first big project as I’m new to crocheting. I made two of them and wow they came out beautiful! One will be an Xmas gift. Thank You so much for this tutorial!!❤
Your crocheting posture is the same as mine! I've never seen a creator who does the folded finger thingy... It really helps with tension. Though it can cause a bit of a cramp hahah.
So I’m a beginner and I did the 30 chains that you said at the beginning and it seems to be smaller than yours??? Could that be caused by how tight I crochet thus far? Thanks:)
@@KamrynCainthat’s crazy 😵💫 this took me over 10 hours (it was my first ever project) but I would always calculate Atleast 5h because I don’t think a lot of people can do it that quickly
Not useful at all even for intermediate level knitters like me. Plus your nails sre covering most of the stitches. Rather than showing off your manicures please think of your viewers
So after you chain 30 she says turn your work and then do double crochets all the way around. I can’t tell if she is doing it through the back loop or what 😭 help?
Um for me when I did the bottom that part confused me too but all she really is saying is to just put it in a hole or stitch that is below you most previous stitch and middle then one above your very first stitch then do your last one on your very first stitch
I’m a beginner (like literally just started out) so sorry if my question sounds dumb, but I saw before that a double crochet is where you skip the first 3 holes then you go for the 4th one, did you do that here at the first chain at 0:49? Or did you go through the first hole immediately? I can’t tell tbh🥲
Hello! If you don't mind me asking, how many inches is the width of the bag? I am having problems with mine because I'm using a different yarn ply and I think it is too big. Thank you!
