In this video tutorial i'm using mercerized cotton yarns called YarnArt Begonia(50g/169m/185yds) of Turkish origin. The hook is 2.7mm (or C/2 in USA size or 12 in Canada/UK size).

I wish you would speak as I'm partially blind. The music is much too loud for me and I cannot concentrate on and follow what you're doing. I would love to make some of your patterns but ....... Hook size, thread size etc. Thank you for sharing.

Did you try muting it and then following both the visual and written pattern prompts? You can cast it to your TV for viewing at a larger dimension also.

Спасибо огромное! Вязать по схеме просто. Но увидеть как вяжут красиво и элегантно , всегда приятно ! Тем более что светлые нити на темном фоне очень хорошо видны и способ вязания позволяет увидеть каждый столбик и петлю . И не нужно замедлять видео и делать ускорение тоже не нужно . Можно просто смотреть и наслаждаться искусством вязания !

Videos are OK to follow but I see basically non of the videos she say what size yarn to use. Its no help at all if we cannot buy the exact same brand of yarn. The weight of the yarn only helps with how much the project needs. For beginners this channel doesn't help me.. just wasted my time because my yarn was wrong and ended up frustrated even though I did everything correctly. The yarn in this video looks much thinner than the 2.7mm hook. Even though i used thinner yarn than 2.7 and tried with two different size yarns, it was still incorrect.

This is a motif that you pick the weight yarn you need for the project you are making. Then you use the corresponding hook for the yarn. The project i am currently doing is a beach/pool bag for my grand niece. I'm using macrame chord 3mm with a 5mm hook. I needed it tight so I'm using a smaller hook. However, I have made a throw with it using a sport weight. Don't lock yourself out of using your own creativity by sticking to one weight and one hook used by someone else. This motif will make many lovely things. Ps, free tutorial. I'm sure you can by the pattern.

You can get the cotton on lots of websites. Just Google "mercerized cotton yarns". Under the video description just click the word "more" and the info was there.

her video is easy enough to follow, i tried several times with different size yarns and non of them worked. left me frustrated. she never specifies what size of yarn only gives the brand name. have you managed to find out what size yarn she uses??? the hook she mentions is 2.7mm. but the yarn is much thinner.
