I love the look of smaller "shawlettes", and this bandana cowl is GREAT! It's not so heavy/bulky around your neck. Thank you so much for showing us an alternate to the crab stitch as I could not get the concept of yarning in reverse. . . this is such as easy way to get the look, awesome!!

I was gifted a Sweet Roll and I had no idea what to do with it. Then this pattern just pops up. Great timing! Thank you!

Thank you! I'd suggest finding the schematic for a simple sweater you like, and then working this stitch to those measurements. :)

Hello! Scrolling and found this. I was looking for this for men, like a biker bandana. It gets pretty chilly on a cycle in late summer in upstate NY! Would you be able to do the solid squares repeat each row to go e it a less fancy look? Thank you for your beautiful pattern! Amy

I love this! Did you have much yarn left over when you made the size of the cowl with 18 rows? I would like mine a bit larger but I don’t want to run out of yarn when I do the edging. I only have one ball. Thank you!
@mooglyblog

Not enough to count on - I'd get a second ball for sure. :)

Do you pull from the center of the skein or the outside?
@mooglyblog
@mooglyblog 5 лет назад
That's up to you - I prefer the outside, as it reduces wear and tear on the yarn. :)
